Thoughts: Very professional restoration, all pieces / parts addressed in sequential order of build process , nice tack welds on the backing plate / mounting bracket...The crimped lip on the plate added a lot of strength, the home made crimping tool shows that you do think outside the box (Didn't expect any less from RRC) There is no doubt in my mind that the end result will be flawless.
Great work and a pleasure as always to watch you work👍👍👍
    Cheers from Canada

  • @cjr6564

Another great Video. Thanks. You may want to get yourself a small vice for the drill press or maybe even use a piece of wood as a backing piece while drilling through flat plate. So much easier and safer. It stops the metal from flexing and it will give you something more substantial to hold onto. If the drill sticks in a flat plate it can cause the plate to spin around and act as a finger slicer!

It's wonderful whenever you see it, and at the same time, the position of the camera, how to proceed with the video and story, and editing are all very real. I think it takes a lot of time and effort. Do you do everything yourself, such as the position of the camera? Thank you for your wonderful story.
And your car? In Subaru Japanese kanji, it is written as "昴". I also saw this maintenance record. It was great.
