So basically,
Rin (the one in the red and also the oldest) and Mio (one in blue and was clearly, the youngest) Were two sisters whom lived in a small town.
They had no food, so starved themselves.
One day, Mio came home filled with joy.
Rin questioned why she was so joyful, but Mio never said why.
A few days later, Rin came to the conclusion that Mio was eating without her.
Because of this, she was filled with envy (Envy is the main antagonist we will be dealing with for book II.), and ate her sister.
Then she noticed there was a small pocket filled with money.
She then realized that Mio was actually saving up money for them which was the reason why she was so happy.
Rin felt instant regret and guilt which lead to a mouth growing on the back of her head.
The mouth on the back of her head was the mouth of Mio, who would constantly wail for food.
If Rin couldn't bring her food, Rin will scream out in pain.
Long story short, Rin and Mio were two sisters who lived and a small down and starved themselves due to having no food.
One day Mio came home with a smile but wouldn't tell Rin why, which led to Rin thinking she was eating without, to which she ate Mio. Just to realize that Mio was saving up so that they can eat. Because of that Rin felt guilty, and the mouth of Mio grew on the back of her head, which would constantly wail for food, and if she didn't get any, Rin would scream in pain.
You can hear Rin scream in pain when you get jumpscared (killed) by her.

Let's just thank the Developers for this. Even though it came out a month late this is a large game so bug testing has to be done. Thanks Mudich and The Mimic Team!

Theory: This is pretty obvious, but Enzukai's power is to turn anyone overly jealous of something or someone into a monster, and she turns them into a resemblence of the thing they are jealous of. For example, Rin was jealous of Mio for accusing her of eating happily without her. What if the other monsters were once living people, who were turned monsters BECAUSE of their jealousy? Tenome = Jealous of not being able to see, Nure-onna = Jealous of not being able to be pretty, etc.

I'm usually scared and reluctant to play any type of horror game due to my phasmophobia, but The Mimic is the first ever horror game I actually enjoyed playing!

Woah, the Mimic has changed a lot. From its simple design at 2021 of January to more complex and realistic at 2022 of March. Thanks to the developers and everyone who helped MUCDICH for making this game.

It was actually a single person proj until chapter 4, all prior chapters were made by only muc which is just insane
You really took my interest. The Mimic is my first-ever fav horror game and I'm honestly surprised that I would even play a horror game, let alone enjoy it. So thank you so much Mucdich, Cactus, Karma, and Sythivo! You really did a great job on this! You brought me happiness and something fun to look to during the boring and dull times of my life in 2021 and all the way up until now, and I can't wait to see what comes next for The Mimic :)

Wow, I can’t believe how far this game has come. It feels like chapter 1 came out just yesterday. Mimic has really come a long way, huge thanks to Mucdich and the Mimic team for creating such a thrilling horror game!
Played through with my girlfriend not too long ago, had a hiccup here and there, but my god this was a different experience compared to Book Control, this is amazing already and my god it's terrifying as Hell, I'm legitimately scared to even bother with Nightmare mode. She showed this game to me last year when Chapter 4 came out, my god I always loved Japanese urban legends and ghost stories and seeing different takes on different characters and "Monsters", this is really quite the experience. I can't wait to see the future of The Mimic, thank you Mucdich for giving me another reason to bond with my gf, thank you for giving me quite an amazing heart pounding horror experience. This is seriously more than amazing. I can't wait til Chapter 2 and definitely see where this story goes.

Mio and Rin’s backstory is very well made and beautiful. I enjoyed seeing the story scene in the game. I’m currently playing Book II, Part 1 with my best friend and I’m already enjoying it! You’ve DEFINITELY improved. Keep the amazing work up!

In my opinion Mimic and Piggy Book 2's storyline are the best in Roblox, Both of them have indept lore and some well written characters in it, The Maps with this 2 games are incredibly well made, The only thing that set the both communities apart are the toxic fandoms of both of these games. Thanks for creating some perfect story games in Roblox. MiniToon and MUCDICH, Keep up the good work as always!
I don't play Piggy because you can select your own chapter only on VIP server, unexplained 10 minutes timer and giant ammount of plot holes. Also it's overrated.
Summary:
Rin and Moi are two orphan sisters, living in poverty. Moi came home one day happy, but never told Rin why. Rin thought Moi has been eating well without her, so Jealousy aka Enzukai overtook her, making her kill Moi and eating her own sister. Turns out, Moi is trying to save money for both of them, and her soul resides in Rin's head now, creating a second mouth

The Mimic is such a great horror game. Out of all the horror games I played, The Mimic is the best. I'm super excited for Book 2!

There used to live 2 orphan sisters, Mio and Rin.
Basically they constantly starved themselves,

Rin,the older, asked why she was so happy but never got the answer.
She finally came to the thought that Mio was out eating well without her.
Jealousy filled up Rin, and to satisfy her hunger, she consumed (ate) her sister,
Then realising that Mio was saving up for both of them. Rin filled up with guilt, leading to
A strange second mouth on the back of her head. That was the mouth of Mio, wailing for food.
The story explained (explained in my own way.) so Rin (Mios older sister) has been not eating due to lack of money and then Mio came home really happy. Rin started getting really suspicious about her happiness, she was thinking “she betrayed me or did she eat without me..?” Or something like that and got Jealous that’s why it’s called Jealousy, then this is where cannibalism starts.. She ate her sister and she saw a bag with coins and started crying, she felt something weird and Mio (aka her younger sister) formed her mouth behind Rins head like on the back of the head, which is kinda creepy and also I would like to call her a two mouthed girl but I refer monster cuz she’s a cannibal and ate her sister so yea.

Edit: I played this with my cousin and we loved it! Such a different approach from book 1! Book 1 was still good, but this is even more creative!!

There’s any other story that the creator posted (not in game) about the chiriro girl being jealous of all the children with mothers so then she finds a mysterious figure and in the game, she is named mother so basically chiriro and the mother are a family but at the end of it, mother is with chiriro staring at the other kids and moms with a crazy look on her face like a murderous look

YESS! I'm soooo excited that book 2 is out. Me and my friend have been waiting for this to finally released, and also thank you so much for the creater for making this horror game. It has changed my fear of monsters so much! ❤

So there are 2 sisters. Rin is the red kimono and the Mio is the blue kimono. The 2 sisters were very hungry and could not afford food as they were poor. So one day, Mio came back home, filled with plenty of joy. Rin was trying to ask why was she was so happy but Mio was not telling them 2. So Rin became jealous and thought she was eating well without her. So Rin killed Mio and soon realized she was secretly saving money for her. Rin felt very guilty as she traigally killed her younger sister. Her mouth at the back if her head always wails for food now!

Well,well,well…it’s been 1 year since the release of the mimic book ll/Jealousy chapter l…ah March 27/28…good memories,I’ll explain why this day was one of my bestest days ever,I’m a mimic veteran and started playing the mimic in Jan 2021, I was a huge fan since then,waiting and gathering with my friends for new updates,chapter lV,Halloween trials,Christmas trials,TWT,etc…Book ll was the one that I was very and really excited,kept checking if there was any news on discord,when it was March 26 for me,I thought it was gonna release on march 28,but what a surprise!It was actually coming out on march 27!!!My excitement Broke the limit,and I was feeling tired so I went to bed and slept for the time to pass faster,when I woke up,ate breakfast,hoped on my iPad,joined roblox praying it was there and WALAH!IT WAS THERE!I WAS SCREAMING OF EXCITEMENT!I told my friends to come play it with me and I got everything right,my headphones,charger just in case if the battery is low,popcorn for the obvious…It took us 1 hour to beat it, we loved the jumpscares,cutscenes,voice acting,noises,animation,quality,etc,it was hard and scary but really and very fun!

Mimic made me love horror games. My friends recommended me to play it and so i did, it was wonderful. im trying to finish book 2, i played Mimic Book 1 and it kinda scared me at first, then i tried to play again after 4 months, i loved it. It did made me dream about it lol

Honestly this chapter was pretty fun to play with my friend. The lighting is soo good! And the sounds are really creepy and haunting! Sure it was a tad annoying at the last part but we still both felt pretty good to complete that chapter ^^

Once there was two sisters mio and rin. They were sisters. In a small town with not mom noir dad.
One day mio came cheerfull and rin said “WHy U haPPy eh?”
-no answer- so rin got so mad and thoght that mio was eating McDonald’s without her then rin was full of jealousy. And ate her sister. Then she saw MONEY. And said “oh she was saving,” and then rin had have mio at the back if her head.
She SCREAMEd and she hunts mcdonalds- i mean her town😅
Mortal of the story: dint be jealous and always find ways.
