      @@nryanmusic You are exactly right. I’m 45 and can’t function because my executive functioning skills are at an all-time low, and I’m dealing with memory loss as if I had dementia. That is what PTSD can do to a child. This girl needs some intensive mental health therapy and probably an occupational therapist to give her some coping skills and hacks for life. Someone needs to make sure the baby’s safe, though. Calling CPS might be helpful as they really pull out the stops to help parents get on track IF the parent accepts help and works at it.

      Really? She strikes me as a genuine narcissist.
      The most important thing to her about her daughter’s development is that she knows her ABCs. Never once does she say anything substantive about her love for her; it’s only a slew of accusations and denial.
      She is also leaving her child with a demographic that has one of the highest propensities to rape children, and she doesn’t see a problem with it.

She's acting this way because shes conversing with the two people who abandoned her. wouldn't you be angry as well. when shes alone with her child, her parents aren't there and therefore there is no one for her to be angry with and she would be acting normal. it's only because she's talking to her parents why shes acting like this. so the television has nothing to do with her behavior, the proximity to her parents is though. she may very well act worse than this when she is with her parents and off TV, we don't know, but as far as her behavior around different people goes, she is probably a lot more calm when it's just her and her kid.

Homeless mothers teach their kids the same things, but those homeless children are not developing stability. I think the child's mother is making selfish decisions and doesn't understand the impact her lifestyle can and will have on her child. However, I wonder what happened to her growing up that she ended up in this position and I don't doubt the grandmother and possibly the grandfather have made some bad decisions themselves.

Meanwhile my abuser knew just when to have a "calm and collected" demeanor, especially in public. Sometimes it's the most manipulative and dangerous people who can portray "normality" so well, and when the person who's been through a lot of abuse or trauma reacts, suddenly they're "just crazy." I feel like it's important to not let emotions get the best of you when dealing with these types of people, otherwise they can easily flip the narrative around while society will easily be manipulated into thinking the abuser is innocent while the other person is just "crazy."

    I’m gonna play devil’s advocate for a moment. I actually feel really bad for the lady, not the parents. If they’re gonna judge her because she’s a sugar baby and throw not just her but their granddaughter, then they have no right to complain about how Jessica raises her child. They didn’t want to help her, they didn’t want to be part of it. I think before we judge the lady, we have think about how strong this woman has sacrificed to raise her child. Not saying she should raise her daughter in the kind of environment that she’s in now, but mom will do anything to provide for their child. Yes, she needs help, but I blame on her parent just as much.

  • @varenthian
    @varenthian 2 роки тому +13

    I find it so strange that her parents don't show any sort of emotion or remorse. If it was me, I'd be wondering if this woman has suffered with narcissistic abuse from her parents and the way she behaves on the show is reactive abuse. I wonder if she's even more angry because her parents are putting on this facade of 'morally superior' when she's seen what they're like behind closed doors. I definitely think she could be making better decisions, but she's right, to an extent; she's been put in a terrible position with their actions. There were other things she could've done to try to stay afloat, but she did make some poor decisions in that emotional state that brought her to where she is now. There's accountability that needs to be taken on both sides. She seems to at the very least partially understand that she's made bad decisions, but her parents don't seem to be taking any accountability for their part in the situation their granddaughter is in.
