    The parents are too clinical and and are cold and disconnected. They are approaching their daughter intellectually instead of in an emotionally intelligent way

    • @dz7a756
      @dz7a756 3 роки тому +13

      when you are dealing with an addict, you sometimes (really most of time) have to set emotions aside. Some emotions will enable the bad behavior to continue on (guilt, allowing her to continue to pimp herself out to men). That doesn't mean they don't care about her. Obviously they do on some level otherwise they wouldn't be seeking out help.

      @@dz7a756 He didn't say the parents don't care for her. But that they are cold and disconnected. Something tells me they've not been there for her emotionally growing up either, especially when she got molested at 9 and taken away. Yeah she's unstable and needs help, and needs to own her actions. But her parents play some part in this, and her issues are clearly deeply rooted and she feels like she's been abused.

      That's the right way to deal with children who are acting out. If you give advice to other people where you have no emotional stake and then not take the same advice because you are emotionally compromised then then your advice is a joke. Parents need to set aside their emotions and do the right thing no matter how hard it is for a child like this. There were many times where my heart wanted to do one thing with my boys but my head told me to do another and I needed to follow my logical brain and not my emotional heart. Too many parents fail their children by making it about their emotional feelings and needs versus the greater good for the raising of their child.

      @@Sssilentlaugh Awesome! Glad to help any parents. My boys are in their 20's now and see things from a new perspective and they both appreciate the "tough love" that they got at times and understand that it wasn't easy for them. I felt that as a father that I needed to play two roles where one time my hands were soft as silk when consoling them but other times hard as iron when disciplining them. Parenting is tough but we can all get through it so long as we keep our eyes on the long game and do what is best, not what is easiest. God bless.

      Yes exactly!! I'm honestly really sad for her I think she feels very abandoned and unloved. Also It seemed as if doctor Phil's forgetting that if she has been trafficked, she has been through really horrific mental, physical, emotional, sexual& psychological abuse.she is definitely very angry and she needs specialized help for survivors of trafficking and rape, because I can honestly say as a survivor of trafficking myself, shes experienced stuff that has seriously damaged her terribly and she is going to need alot of help. Remember that her trafficker or pimp has pretended to be her friend so they could trick her into believing they truly cared about her in order to gain her trust And then when she probably told them about aging out of the foster care system they knew that her parents were never there for her, so they used it against her to make her feel like nobody cared about it but them.

Looking at her she seems to have some really bad mental health issues and by her voice, she looks like she's traumatized and begging someone would hear her side of the story and understand her. She must be suffering from depression and it's really hard to motivate yourself because at that point you're confused and tired. So someone should offer a helping hand and make her understand calmly and help her grow and heal slowly.

      It’s not actually religion or money, it was angry politicians wives who were sick of their husbands cheating on them with said prostitutes so they basically convinced the nation that prostitutes would tear all families apart. That’s when religion got involved. It’s not a religions fault that people want to use it’s teachings for their own gain. I don’t mean to be rude or cause issues just thought I’d make the point! The daughter really needs to take responsibility. If you are living with your parents there are gonna be some rules. Shes qualified for being a CNA she doesn't have to be a sugar baby. I made almost 5$ more than a CNA as a graveyard hospital housekeeper if being a CNA isn't enough

    • @i.k3650

      CNA doesn’t pay that much. And girls do need tampons, makeup, clothes, bra etc. and that cost a lot (ever heard of pink tax?). I have relative working as CNA and her income is $14500 per year, with tax she only get around 13k and she need to have double job/income during since the money just not enough for her if she wants to save money for the future. But now she makes almost double the money since she’s been working as nurse for years.
