Thanks for posting that Harold. Looks and sounds great. Keep coming back to this if you discover anything over time. I love where you ziptied the compressor. I'm going to try it there too. I like having both horns though the motohorn drowns out the other that added audio/tone really catches attention! Also let us know whether that relay gets too hot where you've got it between the vtwin cylinders. I haven't mounted yet but was going to put the relay under my seat and run new wires from the old horn and the compressor. When I lift up my seat there lives an intimidating set of cables and connectors and wires all seemingly balanced just right. I'm afraid to start disconnecting to reach the battery then not be able to put it all back together so I will probably take it into my dealer to install since they installed all of my Custom Dynamics lights. My goal was LOTS OF LIGHTS and LOUD HORN. So this will be the last box to check off the list! Thanks again.

I am hoping the hidden duct tape protects the relay somewhat from both the elements and the engine block heat. Time will tell. My relay is situated perfectly in the middle of the v-twin engine perfectly in the small gap between the left and right sides and don’t touch at all…but when it’s running, time will tell if any damage occurs to the relay. So far it hasn’t. If so, I’ll probably look at doing the same thing with relay under seat…that just means more cables and wires that you have to tuck and hide. Good luck either way! I had to do it myself as dealer labor fees are crazy these days.

@@ClauddvonMauddivv yes you showed how it perfectly fits in the middle behind. That was good insight. Yes on dealer fees. I feel now that I've spent so much money on gear and service on my electrical (so many lights) that the last thing I want the dealer to tell me is that something I did interfered with the rest of it. I had everything off on the floor last night literally as I was watching your install. I could access the negative terminal without having to remove anything BUT that positive terminal is buried. I'll keep you posted. Fellow vet here. Army 71R. Also - American Legion Rider - Post 43 Los Angeles. So we move along similar paths. Thanks again for taking the initiative to capture this install. Much respect.

@@markvega284 I recorded the process of removing that battery cover also and it was super easy once I figured it out, so hopefully if you do it yourself, watching that helps. 96B here (before reclassify MOSs happened.). Thanks for your service. VFW Riders here (I might hang mentioned that in my video but bad memory)

Watched your installation video, nicely done! However i noticed you were talking about a multi-tone setup, but it seems you never connected the stock horn back to its wires. To share your stock horn wires between the relay 86 and 85 you either need to splice into the stock wires or create a Y split from each stock wire. So one end goes to the stock horn and other to the relay, this way both your stock horn and relay activates at the same time. Right now i don't think your stock horn works at all.

Are you certain? Not a mechanic, but the instructions led me to believe that plugging both sets of wires (thick and thin gauge) into the relay is what caused both horns to work.

@@ClauddvonMauddivv those wires feed power to your horn, so yes...

It’s saved my butt several times. Loud enough to get attention of even big rigs. That’s all i need. Very happy with it so far.
