  • Hi guys!
So since the garden is basically a scene from Frozen, I have started my home Reno series!
You may not know this, but I live in a "tiny house" that is a converted RV. It's only small (23feet) which is perfect for me, and I love nothing more than working on it!
Today I'm taking you along as I update the shower faucet. I also updated the showered, but didn't make a video because it took exactly 8 seconds.
The faucet was from amazon and cost less than $15 and is doing a fabulous job so far!
This is the faucet I bought:

This is the showered I got (for like $12 on sale!!)

Even at full price, the showerhead is SO worth it. I used to go to the gym every morning and work out, just so I could use the showers there in the winter. But no more! I have a tiny 2.5ft luxury shower of my own now.

Greetings from Northern Ontario Canada👋 I really appreciate your simple and informative tutorial. You made things easy for a lay person to follow your steps and kind instructions. We just bought our first used trailer and it actually has the exact same faucet you replaced. The new one looks so much better and is certainly the kind we will buy. Continued peace and happiness while you and your beautiful fir babies enjoy the great outdoors. Kindest regards, Heinz & Loriane🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

Hi Melodie. A year late but in response to your mention of not using your water pump...if your home is an old RV, the water pump is only for when you're "camping" away from a water source.
There's a fresh water tank underneath your rv. It's usually filled manually using a hose, just like filling the gas tank in your car. The fill inlet is typically right next to your water inlet connection on the left side of the RV. The pump only works on the water you put into that tank. As long as you're connected to the city water supply, it's the pressure from the city line that's moving all the water in your toilet and faucets. Normally, no reason to run the pump at all.
But it can be a bonus. If you keep some water in that tank, in the event of a city water failure, you can pump your own while you're waiting for the mains to come back on. Only, if you do store water, you'll want to use it occasionally so it doesn't go green. To do so, shut off water supply from city and turn on your pump.
BTW, if you hear a ticking sound when you run your faucets, it's a pressure limiter kicking in to prevent too high city water pressure from damaging your plumbing.
Thanks for the video. I have to swap my leaky one now too. Take care,
    Ben (in San Diego)

I'm in the process of finally finishing my install. Very helpful advice although my old assembly was a bit harder to remove because the space was smaller.

Man a girl like that makes me super sad I chose to do drugs instead of getting married 😩

So simple, give up drugs, a girl like that is worth changing for, don't you think? ps. don't run and get married, they are not all like her. Find one worth having and get her father's approval, life will be better that way and don't play the field, make the right choice and stay the course.

@@HMIBarryLSalter I did 2 years ago. But did them for 30. I had several like her. Just chose the wide gate instead of the narrow.
