Wow! great work finding all those locations. My only criticism, pause longer on each location, maybe go back and fourth several times between now and then. But you did a really good job!
Some of the gripes in the comments section are legit, but the research that went into this clip and the associated Wordpress site is terrific. Yes, the clip moves too fast, which is easily overcome by either slowing it down or carefully managing the pause button. I also found that coordinating the various elements, including the video clip, the Wordpress site, the interactive map and the linked Google Maps pages, can be pretty cumbersome, especially factoring in the language barrier on the Wordpress site. But this is a really satisfying examination of the Easy Rider locations. Thank you and congratulations on some great work.
While there are scenes in St. Louis cemetery #1 in the film, the clip of above ground tombs in this video was shot at St. Mary' cemetery in Raceland, LA.
Oh my god! I'm so happy I could cry!! Thank You So So Much, Doug Harrison! Immediately I confirmed the spot where I've been looking for for many years. goo.gl/maps/sQbPaVxXSSoxgMrk6
Amazing work, very accurate!! Also great thank you for the late László Kovács. He was one of the greatest cinematographer of the Normal days of Hollywood. Great DVD about him a fantastic documentary titled " No subtitles necessary" Highly recommend for movie buffs.
Dude, hit the little settings gear at the bottom of the screen and you can set playback speed to what you want. I ran it at .50, you'll want to mute the sound though.
Very nicely put together compilation! It's interesting how some buildings are in better condition nowadays than before, while others look more than a bit worse of the wear. Also interesting to finally get a context for those concrete fundaments towards the ending of the movie, between the New Orleans scenes and the last campfire! Thank you very much!
The above ground coffins were filmed on Main Street in Franklin Louisiana. Highway 182. I live here. Other scenes were on Morgan city bridge highway 90 and Amelia bridge in Amelia Louisiana. Very cool to see. Funny, the movie is about them all going to New Orleans for Marci Gras. If your from here in Louisiana, you notice they're going the wrong way...lol. They are headed west. New Orleans is East

Yep. Only way to actually see it is to slow down to .25 speed. Even then you need to pause it. Have no idea what this dude was thinking when he put this out
To the dislikers, for a more pleasurable watching experience, go to settings and change playback speed to 0.25, BONUS; the music will mimic your last acid test.

Mute it and set the playback speed to .25. Makes it 100% better.

Some places got wetter and some drier. The buildings tended to disappear or become more run down.
What would ever possess someone to take the time to make this video then slam every photo through as fast as possible??
You're certainly right
So you would not know that they were in AZ & went back to Cali & on to New Orleans?
Very disappointed. ...too fucking fast...wtf
I live outside of Flagstaff. Came here to see how my hometown was in the old days.
Flagstaff is one of my favorite places. Visited several times on my way to the Grand Circle.

Somewhere out there are the GPS coordinates. Would take a bit of searching.
It's the same as in Japan.
@ exactly 2:54 that brick wall around the corner is wher they film Steve McQueen tossing coins with the blac kid in Cinncinnati Kid movie
