Those brackets are so neat you hardly notice them , they don’t stick out very far ideal for filtering . Soft bags aswell don’t damage the bike like hard cases if hopefully not you drop your bike 👍😊
Yes they’re very neat brackets. Soft bags or hard cases, they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Good to see you again! I have SW Motech on my two Hunters but like you on the Tiger, had to make my own support structure. Prefer soft bags as they expand and if you scuff one it doesn't really hurt it.

I too have the SW Motech system on my Triumph. Will look into getting them for the 350 as there is a shortage of the Royal Enfield soft panniers.

Thank you, as it’s winter here it’s only the Enfield that’s being used occasionally.
The Tiger and Bonneville have been cleaned and getting ready to be back out on the roads again soon.

I’m planning on fitting a sidecar frame with a mini mobile hot tub mounted on it. Just working out if the bikes alternator and battery are up to the task of heating the water. Might have to resort to a solar panel

I've got the same system on my g310gs so I checked and saw Motech had the same system for the Classic. I also got the Legend magnetic tank bag. Works on both my Classic and my GT and looks vintage as well. Looking forward to your next videos. 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️

I like this system. Very simple to fit and those bags are far more in keeping with the bike. From every angle the Classic 350 is just perfect.

Happy New Year to you too! Yes, the SW-Motech bags really suit your Classic as they do the Bonneville 👌 At least you only have 1 set of bags between motorcycles which keeps the garage clear & gives you room for another motorcycle perhaps!

A good point about keeping the grab rail bolts aligned. I removed them to fit the RE luggage rack and had a nightmare finding the captive nuts on the frame again 🤨

Its MrT very good and interesting looks very nice indeed I myself had the solid side boxes on suzuki GT 550 In the early 70s I used to stick them on and go and if u hit a ramp u used to watch one or two overtake yourselve on the bike for all the time they came off tough as nuts only problem they weight more than the stuff u stuck inside I noticed a grt pair of throw over panniers whe visiting LOMO in Glasgow good width height and depth throw them over tie down or strap down and ur away and the metal frames on mudguard keep them away from the wheels
Lomo bags are very good quality a very good price. I have a couple of their smaller bags that I use on my bikes from time to time.

Much better than the plastic box which look so fragile . Rigid panniers now seem to be made of that stuff that kept your Cadbury's milk tray in place .

For the back seat, a Tanax Moto Fizz Field Seat Bag (as they are called in Japan) are really practical, useful back seat bags. Blew all the ones I have previously used away.
I got the Heritage version (mid sized) and it fits beautifully and securely on the back. So many well thought out features. A keeper

Find these smaller bags far more useful than ppl give them credit for. Perfect for your bike lock and must have stuff, and not on your back all the time. I have something very similar from GIVI.
So glad to see the Enfield box gone. As practical and useful as anything but hideous .

Those bags are looking good but what is really important those brackets looks good too. There are many options including original RE luggage where bike looks ugly without bags because how bracket for them looks. SW Motech brackets looks decent on their own.

I agree, the way the bags are mounted on the bike was a big reason for making the purchase.

That bags really suit the Classic. I had a quick look on SW Motech page. I would like something for Bumble.
It’s put a Wee idea in ma heed. The mounts look very similar to one’s on my Honda Rebel.
What roughly is the measurement of the mounts?
If it’s same size as my Honda, then, I could just get the mounts, and like yourself, inter change the bags.😊
I have also purchased the power lead for inside headlight.

Not easy to measure them, to see how they would fit compared to your Honda items.
I had a look at the Honda website and the brackets do look very similar. My brackets have two bag mounts in line at the top and the third centre below. The Honda ones look different to me with the single top mount at the top and two level below. Hope this makes sense 👍

I have lomo bags and quality is good, water proof is good, and price is much lower then for this legend.

These bags will NOT work if the pillion seat has been removed, the bracket has to be mounted onto the pillion seat support.
Like you I enjoy riding with the pillion seat removed and will do that from time to time. The plastic side box will be put back on at that time.

The camshaft is working perfectly, no issues whatsoever. I’ve never checked the fuel consumption on this bike, all I know is that it goes a long way on a tank full.

I am interested in adding these bags and carriers to my 350. 3:12 The pillion seat obviously needs to be back on the bike. Have you refitted it with your original 'low rider' seat and dummy springs still in place? I still have both these fitted as you did from one of your previous videos. Just wondering. Thanks for your help with this. Happy New year, looking forward to your trips out in the Spring and Summer. 👍

At the moment I have the standard seat on the bike without the chrome springs. I will be refitting the low seat and springs in the next month or so as I prefer it. The bags and brackets will work with either seat setup but the pillion seat must be fitted as the brackets attach to the pillion grab rail mounting.

The brackets attach to the pillion seat mounting plate. If you remove that then the system will not work.

Pity they don't seem to do a brown version. And twenty seven pounds for a shoulder strap is very expensive. But nicely made.
I agree, very expensive for a shoulder strap, that’s why I made my own carrying handles.
