Have said it before and will say it again. Monica's videography skills are really impressive. No swish panning around, fixed shots, nice compositions, makes the narrative flow without noticing the camera!
Thank you, I’ve shared this with Monika🙌🏻🙋🏻♀️
Any behind the camera videos on how you get such nice smooth shots?
agreed, beautiful composition and framing in all of her work.
My Classic 350 is a tool. I live on the seafront so most of the time she is caked in WD40... however she is my main form of Transport. I commute on her, bimble on her, do my shopping with her, and ride to Norfolk (400 round trip) regularly on her. She sits flat out for hours on the motorway and never misses a beat. Ive had 48 bikes in total, from Fireblades, 2 stroke race reps, off road beemers, Harleys to Vespa's... and my Classic is one of the most enjoyable pure motorcycles I have ever had. She wont be sold, she'll just stay with me until I cant ride anymore and she will be passed onto my daughter or her children... utter utter joy.
A bit of a nostalgic moment there with you, Monica and a sewing machine on a bike, going back to when motorcycles were workhorse vehicles instead of just weekend toys.
My niece got married in the bull a few years ago beautiful place in the evening it snowed making it magical thanks for bringing back a happy memory 👍
Another great video Freddie. Great to see Long Melford, its a lovely place. My wife and I got married in The Bull in 2010 so its nice to see the hotel again.
I attended my first TVR Car Club meeting at The Bull.
I think you win!
Hi Freddie, I live in Melbourne, Australia and moved across here from Liverpool back in 2008. I've just started watching your stuff recently after seeing you in a Missenden flyer video and now I can't get enough of the pod and your videos! In terms of this classic 350, what a bike! My wife bought one in Halcyon Green last year as her first bike and I have to say, I'm really impressed. As a former Thruxton owner I was always a smidge of a brand snob about Royal Enfield but I can't believe how much they've come on. I've ridden her bike a few times now and I have to say, every time I do it just brings a smile to my face. The look, the sound, the vibes. Just brilliant. I have recently bought a z900rs and loving it, but I already know that I'll be jumping on an Enfield when I next come to buy a bike. Really hoping for a classic 500 again with that big single thump!
We just put a stage 2 DNA air filter into the classic 350 which obviously upgrades the air filter but also opens up the airflow with an upgraded snorkel cover and what a great little modification! Sound has improved even more and the responsiveness in the throttle at those early revs is just amazing! Really adds nicely to this little machine.
Anyway, great vids and great podcast! I'm sure I'll be contributing again sometime soon but only up to June in your podcast so far. Thanks for the great work, keep it up!!
Love my Guzzi V7ii
Wish I had found them earlier. Had about 30 bikes of most makes . This is by far my favorite.
They are a bike that takes time to get to know.
70 mph is the same on a 60 hp bike as a 150mph bike.
Fantastic video. I agree with what everyone seems to be saying, Monika's editing skills were on another level for this one. The quality of your videos continue to improve with every upload. Im genuinely excited when I see you've uploaded these days.
Hi Freddie, I just subscribed. I'm 71 now and been riding since I passed my test at 16 yrs of age!! Been a biker all my life most of which has been Harley. Just bought a new BMW 1250RT for touring. I love you videos because whilst I subscribe to a lot its all about riding bikes to different place then race on. Please tell Monica some of us love the history that you provide in you vlogs. I hope the channel grows to match your enthusiasm. Top tip always put your boots inside the tent! That way you avoid having a litre of rain water in them. Gary
Man you have become on of my favourite youtuber. Love your peaceful , grounded and cool style
It was pure coincidence that I watched your video reviewing classic 350, but now I wait for more. The way you describe things shows you got the eyes for aestheticism or maybe it's your accent and voice. Your appreciation for small details from bikes to other stuff is relaxing. It's a respite to see your videos. Keep doing it.
Lovely work as ever both - it's a thumbs up from me!
I'm so amazed by Editing...what a an Episode...super cool.....
Thank you both.... can't find another Channel near to this channel...
Million Subscribers in the way....definitely 💯👍🏻💐🇸🇦
Freddie, I started watching your videos for the cracking Motorcycle adventure.... but some of the stories from the destinations you visit are just amazing, the pirates!! Keep up the good work sir, much love.
What a lovely video. Just feels like we've been with you on the journey. Thanks, Freddie and Monica.
I really enjoyed that vid Freddie. Very pleased to hear the RE350 coped two-up well. 👍
Love you from India. Our Indian motorcycle Royal Enfield classic forever Love our chennai tamil nadu manufacturing company now. Super scenery England love your video.
I love the history! History and bikes; best UA-cam channel ever.
I’ll be sad to see that beautiful little RE Classic leave the channel. Congrats on launching your new business. ❤
Hi Freddie, discovered your channel a few months ago and i love it, very much appreciate your interest and respect for things and it's also ni e to have someone speak very clearly and concise. I'm not a million miles away from you (St Neots, Cambs) so I'm sure we ride many of the same roads, i've had every bike under the sun but am currently enjoying my recent Meteor 350 purchase! ....Thanks Freddie! Tim Hope.
I’ve been watching your channel for a couple of years. You just get better and better. Not a biker yet but one day soon.🙏🏻
This is one of my favorite videos for sure and I enjoyed the history lesson.
Delighted you enjoyed it!
Enfield? What Enfield 😂😂😂
14:47 Now you've done it! Next thing we know, Spain will be demanding that these treasures be returned! 🤣Lovely video, though! On that note, here's a thought; maybe, as well as the bike videos, perhaps you could consider a separate series of short films, purely on the history of certain towns and buildings. You could have some that just focus on old pubs, some on historically significant buildings, and others on the town in general. You certainly have a talent for this kind of thing, and your passion for it comes across, which makes these videos all the more watchable. Seriously, give it some consideration...I'm quite sure they'd prove very popular! 😀👍
Another in a line of great videos.
Monika skills keep getting better and better.
Actually like the history.
Find the antiquity amazing.
Thanks to the both of you.
have enjoyed all the videos with the classic 350, made your adventures look far more beautiful. ill miss seeing it positioned next to you and monica at cafes. Although, seeing as I own that exact model I'm sure ill be alright :)
That was very enjoyable both of you . The music was a great choice . the antiques shop all added to it ,and what lovely old pub . plus the enfield has done a sterling job . till next time . oh and if what you are going to make is as good as i imagine , i will buy one .
When it comes to villages...I think Britain has the most beautiful and picturesque ones in the World. They are very well cared for
my pal had this RE fleet bike last summer and "ran it in" on a trip through France ,Germany etc as documented in Motorcycle sport and leisure - went well and 100mpg.
Lovely old town...but...knowing how you love facts Freddie.... Southend has the longest high street, Stewkley, Bucks has the longest village high street! Happy riding 😊
I really enjoy your videos... love from Cape Town x
From Cape Town- brilliant! Sending all my best, Kelly👋🇿🇦
5:45 two more kids and you'll be ready for Naples riding!
Hello Freddie and Monica , you are my inspiration as i have just started on my motovlogging journey ,my Mónica is Berties dad .If i can get just one vid half as good as yours i will be a happy man
Know Long Melford very well having been one of the lunatics known as Kentwellies who dress up and take part in the historical recreations at Kentwell Hall. Lovely roads, one of the best rides I ever had was one Friday afternoon, finished teaching at 2.30 in Hornchurch and set off straight to Kentwell for a weekend of being a Tudor cook. One of those zen rides where everything - you, the bike, the road all seem in perfect harmony. Arrived in Long Melford a little before public exit so couldn't go in until they had left and had a lovely half hour sitting on the green outside the church soaking up the late afternoon Sun and listening to the bike cool down. Bliss!
Brilliant video, bikes, old property and antiques, my main interests.
Brilliant video freddie. I like when you take us with you, and give us some history. Tfs.
Great video and love the history lesson, guess you're getting a Guzzi, looking forward to seeing which one if it is. I do love my 2019 V7 iii. I'm also looing forward to seeing you get back on the Bonnie when it's finally done and reliving the joy you had for it on all those rides.
I’m not sure its an mg. He said its the second time he’s ridden a bike from this brand and he has already done a v85 and a v7ii.
Not sure the v100 is a modern retro bike. Aprilia and ducati definitely dont make any in those unless maybe he’s getting the ducati scrambler?
Can’t wait to see what it is.
Damn I saw a cabinet I liked for my new bathroom! Nice work you two...as always! x
The moment she said "I can walk home with it" this is wife material I thought. Lucky bastard you are Freddie 😉 cheers from Poland to both of you
Despite your comments on Spanish ships (I’m kidding you 😂) let me please confirm you Freddie that I will support you both and will buy your new product whatever it will be… I’m very excited to know what it is, even more excited than to discover the Italian bike you will ride!
All the best to this lovely couple from Spain!
Hi Freddie.. Monica
Another great film long Melford is one of our un disturbed places thanks for the tour....😊
Great Video Freddie 👍
Makes us proud to be British 👌
If your mysterious bike is a Moto Guzzi
I like them 👍
Cheers Paul
My first thought on the new loaner is a Guzzi since Ducati doesnt really make any more true retros (wish theyd bring back the Sports Classic still)
This is a very good point re Ducati and making a proper retro. I totally agree with you on this- it’s a huge shame and missed opportunity
Really enjoy the videos Freddie, I think you may have said in another video what jacket that is but do you mind telling me. Greatly appreciated
Just spending the day with the two of ye is so cool (in the video of course 😂). Looking forward to the merch 😉
Really love these history rides.
Hi Freddie, we bumped into you at Copdock, I was the chap with menieres. Anyway, we only live a couple of miles from Melford and you've only scratched the surface. There's the peasants revolt at Liston, Lovejoy and Borley Rectory. Plus a great pub at Hawkadon. Ir the Red Lion at Lamarsh. Plus the Nethergate brewery, Sudbury's Talbot trail, Gainsboroughs house, and TTT Bikes, like Krazy horse lite. Come back soon, there's lots more to see.
We often go to wally's cafe, just down the road, and i had no idea of the history lurking nearby. Great watch.
Safe, happy travels 👍
so move there then instead of London - when shopping for new boots a year ago, I noticed that certain work boots were virtually indistinguishable from motorcycle boots but placing the word 'motorcycle' ahead of 'boots' seemed to cause the price to double.
Another great video you two, I know long melford well, I’m often there with my wife visiting her mothers grave which is in holy trinity churchyard
At this point Freddie, I'd say just buy a Classic 350 for yourself. As an owner of a classic I can say that you would not regret it.
Thank you Monica & Freddie - Love the video and the places you take us to.
Hey Frederick, the music you put in your films, on point, at times. 😉✌🏻
The definition of a lovely video 😊
With you having such a good relationship with Royal Enfield I think I would be very tempted to say goodbye to the triumph and get an Enfield the new bullet maby 😮 and this is coming from a fellow triumph owner. Anyway another great video and all the best to you both .
Beautiful video as always.
oh man....I love the history video's Monika...LOL...i used to ride my ex wife and my 2 oldest kids when they were small on my 1979 Bonneville...not for long...it worked..lol..another excellent video Monika!...
We always look forward to watching everything on the channel😊
Cant wait to see what you're going to make.
Im sure it would be interesting for viewers if you covered the making process?
Keep up the excellent, so varied, work.
Seg and Peg❤
I really like the Royal Enfield 350 line (specifically the Hunter), but i know i couldn't live with 20hp. I'd have to move up to the Interceptor. I'm attracted to the Triumph Speed 400. I think it has just enough HP to make it in the US. Were i in the market for a bike, i'd likely go for the Speed 400.
You truly have some beautiful historical towns and buildings there...very rare here in the US.
I think there’s a Classic 650 coming soon, Phil. I do agree- the colossal US roads do require a different kind of machine to our little country lanes:)
@@FreddieDobbshow big of a "think" that is?? And that think covers area like 3-5 years or rather a couple or moths and up to a year.
I am in a market for 350 but would deffinetly be disappointed if after my purchase they release classic 650 couple if months later.
@@FreddieDobbsBullet 350cc is coming out soon as well.
I was in Long Melford yesterday Freddie….with the Ducati 939 Supersport. Had a meal at the Cock and Bell. Great video as usual!
that antique shop is amazing ;;
Enjoyable video - thanks Freddie and Monika!
Maybe just me, but I thought that Long Melford High Street looked a bit stark and 'carparkish'. I think it could do with dose of sympathetic beautification. At least a few more trees would soften the streetscape.
If you ever get tired of UA-cam you should get into the tour guide industry Freddie. As an Aussie is hugely interesting to see some of these places that are half a millennium old.
And I'm hoping the next bike is a V1000S Guzzi
You werent far from me when you were in Melford. Next time youre in the area check out TTT Motorcycles in Sudbury. I think you will love it!
Long Melford is a beautiful English village and thank you for the history lesson, very interesting Freddie.
I would like to add some English history that was applicable to Long Melford.
Britain did not exist until 1707 (Acts of Union). The British Army did not exist until late 1707.
The English Army and Navy were still fighting wars against the usual suspects prior to 1707. There was no British Government until late 1707. Finally for you Americans out there, you did not fight The English for independence you fought George III and The British Government! 😊
Great content Monika and Freddie, thank you.
Great video. Looking forward to seeing more about the history of this village.
As for the mystery bike…..Italian, Retro and new. Must be a Moto Guzzi.
Can't wait to see your final product. Great vid! keep it up.❤
Good luck with your endeavors with your new product, I design and make things myself and get such satisfaction when items sell and get positive remarks, before you know it, it won't feel like you're working at all. My regards to you both and thanks for your youtube videos, very inspiring
Freddie at this rate the BBC will soon be taking you on to present bargain hunt! Agree the classic a gem ❤
That village looks a right snooty up up market high end hood , the decanters in that antique purveyors gaff say it all. If it was a low end hood ,the great unwashed neck the booze so fast ,it doesn’t get chance to get decanted . The name of that village sounds like it belongs in an episode of Miss Marple or Lovejoy. You fit in there well Freddie , they must of liked the cut of your gib ,to turn a blind eye to you having the audacity to park a budget motorcycle on their nice village green . Nice one I like it 👍
I live in Long Melford!
Great video guys as always.
Ever been to Jersey in the Channel Islands? I believe that you would love to discover this island in a Royal Enfield, lots of history and amazing pictoresque restaurants and cafes. Would be amazing to have a visit from you. Love your videos.
Not pirates sir! Letter of marque was their proper title. They had royal assent to attack Britain’s enemies wherever they found them.
Great classic 350, i 'd like to see you with the new bullet 350 proving this old/new machine, when it`s came to UK or wherever in Europe and compared it with the classic, thanks, a big salute from Argentina! ( So, It's beautiful, amazing and charming place, thanks again) Another subject, the origin of these engines (RE;BSA;ARIEL, Norton ecc. ) come from the old SINGER sewing machines, greetings.
Great video as always! I am just getting my classic 350 next week, it will be my first bike, just love the looks. Nice gloves you have, where did you get it?
Hope you and M well. Looks such an interesting place Freddie. Classic looks a nice bike. Checked the high street fact and wiki actually says
“It is believed that the street is the longest village street in England, but this is actually a myth. It was recently measured at around a mile and a half long. The actual longest street is Stewkley, Buckinghamshire. The myth has several possible origins:
Combe Martin has the Guinness world record for the world's longest street party; this can easily be confused as longest village street (or, indeed, the longest high street).
Many people measure Combe Martin from one "you are entering Combe Martin" sign to the other. One of the signs is placed an unusually long way from the village (approx 1 mile and one half) which can lead to confusion.” 🤔
Very impressive display that must have been worth a small fortune - BUT did you ask the owner of the Antique Shop if they knew anybody at the British Museum? 🤔🤔🙃
Freddie "can you handle this" Monica "It will be fine" Thats why you two will always win that my friends is the attitude we can do it no doubt and they will !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you have ridden Guzzis, and Fantic so I'm going for Moto morini. Long Melford a favourite ride out of mine. Cheers Freddie and Monica
Everything you two do is top draw love it
Magic vid
Been flowing channel for ages
What watch do you wear keeps grabbing my attention
Love the history. Love it all 👍
I just have to say freddy you are notilike a biker but so knowledgeable and very interesting to hear what 😂you say , monica is a lucky girl as you are a handsome chap I assume monica is a shy person but always cones across as beautiful when she talks , but i love your vids so interesting and different to other biker utubers i watch with my hubby
Great video... Now I have to ask - When are you going to get your hands on a Meteor 650??.. I'm itching to get your opinion.
Ohh Freddie & Monika, poor mum will be slaving away sewing full time on the machine under keen eyes 😉 Another fabulous historical journey with the classic 350! Great to see Monika’s filming & your combined editing skills 👌👏. Will you miss the Classic 350? Stay cool you two🤙
First i was thinking guzzi v7 but then you said « neo retro » , the v7 for me is a real retro
So maybe the ducati scrambler
How much is a coffee in that cafe, Freddie? Stunning old pub. The new bike has to be a Moto Guzzi, the fancy new one. I like the boots as much as your TCX ones. Monika got there first.Nick J
V100 Mandelo. I really hope that’s it. I’ve been highly considering one. But it’s not really retro in my opinion. Or the other option could be a Motorini SCR.
Hi, first all, I think Monica’s videography AND choice of music is just fantastic.
Does anyone know the music that’s being used at 8m 56s ish, please? Shazam can’t identify it. Many thanks
ride safe always
Excellent video 👍👍 Thanks
I hope one day i get to visit the places you share with us.
Er, British history yeah but Long Melford shots, bit too much Freddie, I watch all your videos and there great but got to be honest Monica's giggle's when you do something funny is priceless. Please continue and thank you both. Josh [west sussex, uk].
I noticed you both in Melford Hall last month and wondered if that would feature.
Amazing video bro...the title should be Bike & Adventure ❤...Good job bro...
Awesome hand signs, Frederick 1:27 ill umi nati? or google?
Moto Guzzi V7 is my bet.
Just think you’re both great 👍
Long Melford, also known as Gods waiting room. 😜
