The Cobalt ONE is a compact yet powerful fiber laser plate-maker for pad printing. Utilizing a laser in plate (or cliche) making for pad printing guarantees a fast and precise process every time. Unlike photopolymer plate-making, lasers require many less consumables.
The Cobalt ONE fiber laser plate-maker works by first altering the prepped art files in the Cobalt ONE software. Adding a hatch pattern and setting specific parameters will create a plate (or cliche) for the type of application you are trying to achieve. Once the parameters have been established, the Cobalt ONE has a light feature that outlines within the machine where the etch will take place. This helps to troubleshoot any issues with artwork placement. The plate (or cliche) can be inserted into the machine and then the etching process can begin.
The Cobalt ONE is compatible with: Cobalt Ultra Laser Plates, Cobalt Steelback Laser Plates, DuraLaze Laser Plates, Onyx Laser Plates and Onyx Steelback laser plates.
