Saw them tonight, absolutely incredible show. Do not miss this band if they're within a 1000 mile radius of where you live.
Saw them last night here in England, on tour with boring Def Leppard. CT have still got it, and they performed this song which stood out a mile. Shame it's not on any of the live DVDs or studio albums.
Saw them do this in Columbus OH Aug 2015. I was really impressed.

loving the bass guitar but 12 strings??? whats wrong with 4
12 stringed ones have a much different sound that is part of Cheap Trick's signature sound. I personally prefer the sound of 12 strings over 4 strings.
Did CT ever record this for a studio session / album?

Its too bad Rick couldn't get the sound guy to increase the gain on his channel. He's being drowned out by the others.

takes a village right and the sound wouldnt be right without the rest but if they needed a break I would say okay and let the kids do it too, but you know you four or 5 or more will always be in my heart too, because the love of family and friends important! My wife and saw Cheap Trick this past Saturday night this bass solo and 'waiting for my man' song was the worst part of the entire show. They used to have such a solid and tight sound but that 12 string bass made every song sound harsh, rough and quite literally painful to listen to as well.
Cheap Trick has so many of their own fabulous songs that there is really no point in doing a mediocre Lou Reed song. I'm disappointed.
