the thing with battery powered flashlights is that you have to pay a premium to get the ones that are water proof. Makita introduced XPT, but not all their tools have that feature....because a lot of people were under the notion that all their tools were water proof to some degree, which it's not true.

The original Ryobi blue upright flashlight with a replacement LED is superior however it is larger. The P705 in hand is poorly balanced it feels like it will slip out of your hand but as a stationary light it works well enough. I believe Ryobi is working on a up right model similar to other major tool brands (and their original blue😏)
Yeah, we agree with you about the poor balance as you saw in the video.
