I started out as a card maker and became bored with traditional cards. Loving abstract art, I would be very interested in your take on them! So happy I found your channel!
Bubble wrap! Different sizes, and can be used on the gel plate over and over (when the dried paint gets pretty heavy, it leaves behing some fun grunge).
Hi, and thank you for the tip! I have used bubble wrap on occasion, but hadn’t thought to let the paint build up and use it with the grunge on there! I will definitely try that out!☺️
Hi! Yes, you can keep reusing the Play-Doh. It will eventually get discolored, and at some point will need to be replaced, but I’ve been using the same little can for over a year, so it will last you for a while!☺️
Hi! I will put together a video in the new year on the Alcohol Inks. They are a lot of fun, but a bit different to use! Thanks for checking out my video!
Hi! This is a set that I ordered nine years ago on Amazon. I actually found the order, and I’m going to drop the link here for you. Not sure if they are still available, though! Thank you for checking out my channel!!☺️ Zig Kuretake Gansai Tambi... www.amazon.com/dp/B00BBKT9SM?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thank you! I always learn something from you! Who knew about Play-Doh or magic erasers?! And you took the mystery away about alcohol inks! Will you please talk about how to fix work ( ie chalk pastel or Stabilo Woodies on top of collage)- something that works indoors and doesn’t smell?
Thank you, you are so kind! I will get back to you on the fixatives. Just actually stepped into my car, but didn’t want to let the message go unacknowledged!☺️
As far as a fixative, I typically use Krylon UV Resistant spray or Grumbacher Final Fixative. Sometimes Krylon Triple Thick Acrylic Spray. I would not recommend using any of these in an enclosed space. You should always make sure there’s adequate ventilation and spray outside if possible.
Hello Melissa, i so enjoyed watching this video although i think a lot of people know of these must haves its goos to be reminded of thw useful tips. Thankyou.❤

I am amazed at what you do with ordinary “trash”! These are really great tips and techniques! Thank you so much for sharing them with us.❤
You are so welcome!🤗
I agree these would make beautiful greeting cards, and I would be interested in having you do a video on that❣️
Thank you! I plan to do that!☺️☺️
Thank you Melissa! I’m a pro at using odd things from around the house, but showing us the actual techniques was super informative and fun!
I love freebies when it comes to art supplies! ☺️

Thank you! I will make a video on that in the future!☺️
In your opening photo you look like Madonna with halo…pretty ing 😊
Haha! Thanks! ☺️
Man, do you need to clean your Plate. That was very interesting. That is some stuff you would put in the trash.
Yeah, I clean it periodically, but I like to let the paint build up so that some of the grunge comes off in my prints!☺️
I like how you say your from the north east. North east where xD.
