UA-cam's programming is what messes with our notifications on purpose. So it can push different creators that we are not subscribed. Can't fix it. The key is knowig when ones favorite creators upload and if we don't see a notification its time to tap the notifications bell icon and tap personalize, then retap the bell and tap all again. UA-cam also keeps track of creators upload activity. If creators stop uploading The algorithm quits pushing their content. The thing is UA-cam tells their creators to stick to their main wheelhouse. And I see its a struggle for long term creators because there are other things they can and want to evolve their skill and help their community do the same. And as a viewer I also want to see other things creators can do. So channels get old, same old, same old. And creators get badly burnt out on the same old, same old.

What about spreading the acrylic paint solid on the plate and drip WD40 and see what happens. It gave me ideas from the acrylic pours you did. I had no idea it was WD40 that made those shaped.

So paint has to be thinned to a heavy cream. And drops of WD40. Good info, thank you. And you are right. Every pour painting I've seen makes me think of background, and more can be done with it. Love watching, listening, and learning. Very inspirational! ❤

Thank you for this video! It's an eye-opener after hearing so many people say you can't use inkjet prints for gel printing. I have two printers, a Brother MFC-J1800DW and a Canon Pro-300. The Brother, primarily used for everyday printing, uses black pigment based ink, but the cyan, magenta, and yellow are dye based. The Canon Pro-300 uses all pigment based inks. This is great news for printing collage papers!

Looking forward to the human figures. I have been intrigued by others I have seen. Not a cat fan but this is great. I was hoping you wouldn't completely cover the background. Like the flowers but I probably would like the copper foil as well. Very cute and coloful.

I love everything about this piece; the colors, the cat image, the collage papers. I like that you didn’t obliterate the entire background and let it come through enough that it didn’t take away from the focal point. Agree that copper and teal are a beautiful combination and would have been interesting but maybe on something with not as many other colors? Just my opinion but would love to see something with those elements. I’m a cat lover so anything with cats is fine by me. An owl, maybe? Not sure if you want to keep it a living element but maybe something funky using this technique like an old car or a house (nothing too detailed). Just throwing stuff out there. Thanks for sharing your creative process, Melissa. Always a pleasure watching you.
