Part of my property runs along a 55mph road. People like to deposit trash from the vehicles. Typical paper product trash -- cups, bags full of fastfood discards, sauce packets and other trash land in the first 2-5ft. Metal and glass bottles make it a bit further (4-8ft). I need this guy's "science" brought to my area, imagine how much less time I'd spend cleaning my lawn before mowing?!?!?!?! 800ft road frontage x 6ft could easily be cut in half, maybe even a third!!!!!

Really, how on earth does an engineer believe that drag/resistance and the weight of an object thrown out of a moving object does not matter in distance/speed analysis? Is he implying that a tissue paper thrown out of a moving car would have the same travel and landing characteristics as a smartphone thrown out of the same car? and that such characteristics would not be affected by whether that car was travelling at 40 or 100 mph? Does Mr Sutton even understand basic physics?🤔🤔🤔

How does it not occur to any of these idiots that THE SHOOTER WAS KNEELING??! That should have been the first thing the prosecutors asked during cross! "WOULDN'T ALEX BE THE PERFECT HEIGHT IF HE WERE KNEELING??!" The so-called expert quack even mentions laying down would be unlikely because of the distance it would move it to, but he deliberately avoids the kneeling consideration because he knows that would perfectly suggest Alex! I can't believe the prosecutors dropped the ball on this.

The young state's attorney did a good job with the tape measure but he needs to slow down and he should have brought up the possibility that the shooter was sitting in an ATV or golf cart and compared that to Alex Murray this measurements.
By contrast, the old guy crossing the Connecticut crime scene expert is too slow, too blustery with all the walking and I am surprised that the state used him for this. Is he their boss? He needs to retire.

Not sure about that. No one has talked about his tremendous skills in the courtroom. According to The Daily Beast, colleagues who know Murdaugh and spoke at his trial do not paint a picture of a man who is as hardworking or knowledgeable in the law as his pedigree and reputation suggest - but rather, a man with good people skills who was able to charm his way out of doing the harder parts of his job.
"Two of them described Murdaugh as a loud and 'frenetic' lawyer who kept different hours than everyone else - and was able to keep a 'good clientele' roster because he had the 'gift of the gab,'" reported Pilar Melendez. "'He was successful not from his work ethic, but his ability to establish relationships and to manipulate people into settlements and clients into liking him,' Jeanne Seckinger, the firm’s chief financial officer, testified on Tuesday. 'The art of bullsh*t, basically.' Ronnie Crosby, another former law partner who has known Murdaugh for over two decades, simply told the jury that Murdaugh 'wasn’t a real student of the law.'"
