Here I talk about how I’ve learned that, although consistency is essential, it’s not the only habit we can develop to improve faster at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The way we think about training, for example, is also important. Factors such as whether or not we compete, or cross-train other fighting systems that compliment BJJ, such as judo or wrestling, can also impact how quickly we move forward.
I discuss fitness, how to engage with training partners, not having a fixed mindset. I also share tournament footage from the Nogi Jiu Jitsu British Open and Grappling Industries. I talk about how competing has helped me to progress.
I’d love to have you come with me on my Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training journey - if you want to follow along go ahead and hit subscribe.
