I did like ur video but I wish you took us through the steps on how to find a brushless system compatible for the car we have. Example being I have a 390 motor but have no idea what brushless motor will fit. I can’t find and information on how to choose. That said I like your setup a lot I can tell you’ve put a lot of work into lighting and sound. Very pro.

How to know which brushless motor to use as a direct replacement for a brushed one? Any guidelines on fitment etc, same for the esc? Thanks
The motor screw holes, is that standard in every motor, brushed & brushless?
Yup they’re normal the holes are required to hold the motor in place. Don’t forget to set your gear mesh

Yep. Lose the music. Awesome topic to showcase. A few things to consider to make your videos even more beneficial. Identify the things people won't know much about and focus on them. The right gear cog for the spur gear, does the brush less motor have to be same brand as the ESC, does changing these components effect your controller and receiver? These are a few things I'd want to know. Working out how to remove the motor and ESC isn't a big one. You could have them loose or pre removed but in place prior to commencement to save you time. Still thoroughly enjoyed it and your talking and teaching style is well suited to what you're doing. Keep up with good work champ.
Wow you know your stuff the most import videos are those identifying that which wont work.. eg cog teeth... was that the same receiver used how will the new parts connect to controller and it has to be on the same video and show doing each connection screwing and unscrewing can be showed less but picking the right motor cogs opinions actual connection of electronic parts is the most difficult part...

How do I know what motors will fit and work for my rc car? I have just bought my first one on Amazon it's called protector from bbm hobby 4wd buggy 1/12 scale
Motor have blue/yellow/orange wire, esc all 3 wire black in your case! no mention of which wire does what!! also why would you want to plug in the wiring before mounting the motor? doesn't make sense!

As a beginner of RC, I just want to reconfirm my comprehension...so only the esc and the motor itself need to be changed, correct?
Theoretically yes, you can swap the ESC and motor only but, in reality, you'll also need a better servo and better material for every part of the car.
A faster motor will increase the friction, so the heat produced, and will also increase the strength needed to make the car steer.
When I started with RC, 15 years ago, I bought a TT-01 chassis and, after a month or two, I upgraded it with the best possible brushed motor and, since the car was made solely of plastic, everything was gone in two weeks: shaft, differentials and servo too.
That's why I won't suggest a motor-only upgrade on an entry level car.
