It's amazing the differences in the quality of the installations you see. That one was obviously done by someone who didn't think ahead to when it needs to be serviced. Glad you do. We're still working on getting the Foretravel ready to go, all the electrical work is just about buttoned up and now we're waiting on awnings and windshields. Once that's done and I've fixed a few mars in the bodywork, she'll be good to go on down the road for a long, long time. We'll be passing near your area in early August on the way up to a family shindig at Pelican Lake. Looking forward to being back home in The Northwoods!
Funny thing, I originally started watching all of your videos from years past and thought that SOTA stood for "State of the Art". I just never made the association with MN. :)
I'm sitting on the couch, waiting for some friends to show up so we can head to Iowa Speedway, for the Nascar weekend! All hooked up to the 5th wheel & gonna give the solar system a good test over the next 5 days. I already know I want to about triple our 400ah battery bank...😉😎🏁
Shawn, what is the thread pitch on the thumb screws to use on bottom of the Multiplus cover? Also, thanks for sharing your use of the tinned copper crimpable butt connectors. I bought a pack of 10, 2 gauge connectors as I needed to extend the length of some 2 gauge cable on my BMS. I went with a 3-way (1 circuit) screw connector to take two of the 2 gauge cables to connect a 2/0 cable (2/0 in and two, 2 gauge out to the BMS). Much better than using China made bus bars! Today, I 'practiced' adjusting the Multiplus II settings for when I want to use AC IN (only when my batteries are low). The number of settings to adjust/change was considerable. Too bad you can't just choose priority. But, for the control and options, I'll learn and adapt to the Multiplus capabilities.
amzn.to/3z11cxo thumb screws. For conditional, AC input look in the multi plus programming you can actually adjust that to have it automatically do that for you or maybe that’s what you were trying to do and I just misunderstood .
@@sotasolar Thanks. I've ordered the screws. The bottom cover screws take forever and nice to have ability to remove/tighten by hand with the thumb screws.
In Ocala Florida watching you, enjoy the videos and the doggos.
