The instruction manual indicates the spots for oil but I found there are quite a few more that involve metal on metal interfaces that would benefit from a single oil drop. If you remove the side plate (3 screws), the plastic power plate(1 screw) and the bottom plate (3 Philips screws) and turn the hand wheel you will see several joints that need oiling. Thank you for the great clear videos.
I like to use the brand called 3 in 1. They have a really good multi purpose oil. Hope you found this helpful. Please like and subscribe. Unfortunately on these machines if you have a loose belt you need to replace the whole belt. There isn’t a tension adjuster anymore. The machines from the 1940s and 50s had adjusters. But these do not. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hopefully you can still like and subscribe
Singer makes oil that’s the best compatibility with the machine. Here is a link on Amazon: www.amazon.ca/dp/B08DN2FHDY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_H31H6S3T47GSB13D7WSM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
