I’m torn between an Xcarve pro and an Avid. You’re one of the few folks that’s used both. I see you’re using an avid now. Any insights? Is the XCarve pro quality?
just got the x carve pro and put it together, do you always nail down your work pieces and not use clamps? i would think after doing it so many times there would be little mushrooms everywhere on the spoil board.
Are the cables with the Pro long enough to run from computer under the table to your cart or did you have to get extensions. My Pro is on order and trying to get some preplanning done so I am ready at delivery.
No extension needed, but you’re looking at a usb to usb c, and an Ethernet cable if you wanted to extend it even further. Without being in the shop right now to measure I’m guessing the cables are 8’. Enjoy your Pro!
I would venture a guess that the way you enjoyed this build and the joy on your face, is probably how you were on Christmas morning as a youngster. Be safe on your other job and Merry Christmas. -- Retired LEO.
4x4 steel for a 4x4 table ... makes perfect sense! Do you have some type of locking mechanism holding the lower cart in place for when you move the entire unit around?
No for when it’s rolling. It mostly stays put, but does move around a small amount. Those were double locking casters on the small tray as well for when it’s in use.
What model is you're smaller X-Carve? I'm looking to get into CNC, but definitely don't need anything like the Pro. Also, have you tried using it with any type of metal?
Its good. Might be cool to add a clip of some sort to clip the cart and cabinet together so when you move they go together. that way you wont rip the cables out

awesome build! thanks for the great content
Yup, Its Good!!
You may have mentioned this and i missed it, but do you use any specific nails to secure your work pieces ?
Its good Another cracking video
Awesome!
Good job!👍👍👍
So awesome
Freaking Awesome!!
"Its good" idea having a separate cart for the computer and tools. I'll check out the plans. Thanks for sharing.
It's good.

How do you get the nails out to move the board ?
Do you have a similar setup for the x-carve…
It's good! Amazing
its (very) good!
I saw a great video. Fighting!!!
Bravo!!
It’s GOOD!!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Wow!!!
Nice!! "It's good"... :-)
It’s good!!
It's good !! 👍
Like that cabinet and want to have it, but don't have a space where to build, no tools and time.
It's good!
Shout out to the boiiii Nick who just watched you flip that table by yourself 😂. Great vid and build Jonny.
Haha!
It's Good!
How tall did you make your table?
Beautiful, Can iget CNC file
“its good”
It’s good

Pretty fantastic work, Jonny! 😃
It looks amazing!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks 🙏
Please do a video of the speed comparison of X-carve and X-carve Pro !
Ha that would be a good video, but would also make the OG look bad haha. It’s not even close.
GreatJob
It's good and not just because he said so :) - I need a monitor lift, checking that out no
Did I see project alpha make an appearance
It's good, Jonny - and the bow-tie on the X-Carve Pro is still a nice touch.
Haha thanks 🙏
I would love to see some beginner tutorials on the Pro. Can't wait for mine! It'll be my first. So few have this - there are limited videos.
it's good.....and so r u
Thanks 🙏
It's good! :-)
Monitor lift, meanwhile the mouse and key boards are just hanging out on top 😖
Straight up awesome Jonny! Everything was so well laid out and executed! It's good, and I'm not just saying that haha
Thanks brother
It's good! Nice idea for the track for the smaller x-carve
Thanks 🙏
it's good 👍 as always Sir, never been bored watching the content 🤗
its good xD
It's good. :-)
It’s good man! One of these days I gotta pull the trigger on a cnc
*it's good. Tab and slot construction with CNC is a killer on assembly time once you get your mind around designing for it.
Absolutely! Can’t wait to do it with metal some day like you!
Great job! It looks amazing!
Great video. Awesome design on both builds. Mahalo for sharing! : )😁🐒
Thanks 🙏
S U P E R ....
It’s Good ! Like the bow tie, all XCarves should ship with them. Love the table for the XCarve. Overbuilt is my middle name.
Wow man thats awesome🤩
Great idea with the tray
Thanks for sharing
Have a nice christmas time
Instead of the box joint style seams you could do a bevel so that when closed it is actually sealed from dust
You could, but it’s not like I have a crazy amount of dust flying around the shop. Just being inside the cabinetworks great as is.
it's good! heck, the tiling feature in the software is going to be a game changer!
Yes!
perfecto!! eres mi heroe!! felicidades!! saludos hermano!
Nicely done. What did you use to glue down the table tops?
I was using composite brad nails from Senco.

Thanks 🙏
It's good! Awesome assembly
nice build! that xcarve is badass!
Looks realy good. Well done
Man that’s cool! I want to get a Cnc of some kind eventually.
It's good...no...it's great! That computer cart rocks 👌
local man afraid of taps
Amazing work!!! Thanks for sharing😉
This one really got a rise out of me.
Hahaha!
Nice shop you’re assembling there Jonny...been watching since you were working in a small garage/shop.
Thanks 🙏
it's good and the computer cart is wicked cool!
Cant wait to get my pro in April!!!!!
Perfection to a higher level !!
Excellent job
This looks amazing! I'd love to build something like this but I've never welded - an y tips on getting started?
👍👌❤👍👌❤👍👌❤
Its good. Awesome table and computer station
ITS ALLLLL GOOD! GREAT WORK!
Very sweet setup.
its good and cool, nice work !

Perfect! Well done!
It's good! Amazing work
7495$ ?! I can not see any reason why it is so costly
It’s worth every bit of that and more, but I can see how some folks might not be able to justify the costs.
It's good! No, it's great! Thanks for sharing.
you clearly don't do things by small measures
Really cool Jonny! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
It’s SO good👌🏻
What model is you're smaller X-Carve? I'm looking to get into CNC, but definitely don't need anything like the Pro. Also, have you tried using it with any type of metal?
X-Carve 1000mm. Never tried metal tho.
What size table did you build ij have the pro in order need to make a table I like yours alot! I don't have sjectup so I couldn't see the top size
64x64. Could’ve been 4 inches woder
Hey man great video! I have one in order myself. So you recommend 68”x68” or 68” x64” and what height would you recommend?
Its good. Might be cool to add a clip of some sort to clip the cart and cabinet together so when you move they go together. that way you wont rip the cables out
The cables are pretty long so it hasn’t been an issue.
Great project ... in fact.... It's good!
Yup, I learnt lots woodworking and carpentry from
onlinedigistore com
What computer are you using with the x carve pro?
Real cheap Dell windows computer.
I would also add some high flow low noise fans for heat. One of the most common ways is to push the air up from the ground and blow it out the back
It's good. Would love to own an x-carve some day.
I noticed you had to "ply" the wood off the table, but didn't see any clamps. what did you use as a "hold down" thanks, and thanks for the video,
