@tchesit is a true profession and skill, Microwelding , grinding to get the sharp edges back and polishing to the case standard, in this case Omega...well done
Wow, super Arbeit! Wieder ein Mega Ergebnis. Bin schon seit dem letzten Video am überlegen ob ich euch nicht einmal meine Seiko 7548-7010 schicke zur Gehäuse Aufarbeitung. Beste Grüße aus Bielefeld, C.D
Excellent work, it certainly must be a great watch, it has received harsh treatment before being restored and works perfectly. You left it premiere ☘️☘️☘️☘️
Lovely work, as always. That watch deserves a new bracelet or a restoration of the old one. It has obviously been worn and loved, but that sucker is stretched out!
Nice work done. I have an old Seiko at home but don’t work. Is it expensive to make it work again. I bought it on a second hands site. It’s not that i am emotionally attached to it but i find it a very cool looking watch.
@@Vintwatches i sent my super sea wolf to zodiac and they would not fix it saying that they dont have the parts for a three year old watch. fossil really screwed them up
Amazing case work! One question - the sunburst. You already seemed to do it on the lapping wheel, then did it again on the belt? Can you please explain this? Kind regards, Jim.
Thanks Jim! I pre grinded the dimensions to flat surfaces on the lapping machine and used the belt grinder only for the finish of the sunburst grinding pattern. Best regards from Germany Daniel -Vintwatches-
I had my Omega Seamaster serviced by the Swatch Group and they didn't refinish my case nearly as good as you! In fact, they told me beforehand they couldn't guarantee the same finishing as factory spec.
A few years ago, when I had my 1971 Flightmaster serviced here in UK, they replaced ALL the colour-coded pushers with plain pushers, telling me that was the way that Omega had authorised them to do it. They ignored my protests. It cost me over three hundred pounds to replace them - having found some new/old stock in Australia on the usual on-line market.
We're n❤ot worthy....We're not worthy.... Amazing, beautiful work, i am just captivated in steps you take to make this watch look beautiful again. How would I inquire about having an Omega Flightmaster case restored to its original splendor? Also, is it possible to recreate the laser etching of the DC8 on the caseback?
Thank you for your comment! Just send me a Mail for your Flightmaster, my website is in english as well. Sure it is possible to relaser the engravings of a Caseback, but I’m not an expert for such a work.
Great work! Very impressive! I have an old watch of my grandfather that am looking to renew. The watch is an Atlantic worldmaster 61660. It needs a new glass, crown and grinding (polishing) of the cage. Will reach out to you for a price if you can.
Nicely done, it's not a Jedi though. Reference 145.0024 was nicknamed Jedi by Chuck Maddox. The mix-up with the 176.005 was simply caused by an error in an auction catalogue.
Thank you for your comment 🙏 I know that the 145.0024 was nicked Jedi originaly, but generally everybody in the entire world will mean the 176.005 when talk about an Omega Jedi.
