For the Vstrom 650 ,they seem to mount on the engine head and crankcase. Will a hit transmit to the engine?.Aslo is there a skid plate which mounts on the frame, engine guard ?

funny you say that because most of the africa twin skid plates I've seen are made of 4mm aluminum and GIVI is 5mm

Hey, do you have any recommendations for a beefy skid plate for a BMW G650GS Sertao?

Do you sell only the mounting hardware? I have the skid plate but I want to replace all the nuts and silent blocks.

I ordered the OEM KTM skidplate. Was it a bad choice? I've been thinking about getting SW-Motech for a while but Im a sucker for OEM stuff!
