Thank you so much for this video. I am currently researching the most suitable fruit trees for a community garden in Melbourne Australia. We wanted to buy dwarf or semi-dwarf trees so they can be more easily managed. Until I listened to your video I did not realise the downside of the dwarf trees as we want the garden to be fully organic. They will be planted with WaterUps open wicking system so we have the consistent water supply covered. I am really enjoying your very clear videos. The information is presented at a speed that allows time to think about what you are saying and the dot points and really clear photos to illustrate your points really enhance your presentations. Thank you so much for all the care that you have taken to make your videos so easy to follow and understand.

Regarding resource partitioning, I presume a larger tree needs more wood to support the tree's heavier weight. A smaller, lighter tree can afford to put more of it's resources into producing fruit.

Felt odd to not hear anything about the Geneva series of rootstock until the end and even that was a brushing over.

Yer welcome! The central coast of Calif is too cool and damp for nut trees, so we don't have any experience growing them.

@@ucscagroecology It's great to hear from you, I've seen mandarin trees in your orchard in a number of your videos and was wondering if you could describe the varieties of mandarins or any other citrus spp. that you grow on your farm.
