You have to pay for the arcade but the water park is free though to use water slides you do need a wrist band that you can get for free with an adult signature
I’ve been to Royal Caribbean, Carnival and MSC. Royal Caribbean is the best, then carnival then MSC. The most good thing about Royal Caribbean is there are plenty of outdoor deck, and food taste is the best. They treat you like a king and queen in Royal Caribbean. Carnival is overall medium. And the bad things about MSC is behavior and attitude of the stuff; also food taste isn’t good compared to to RC and carnival. I didn’t realize until I boarded with RC. May be because of that my expectations went higher. So MSC isn’t bad, it’s just not the best compare to other three. Never been to Norwegian so not sure about that.
This cruise ship is only OK, the negatives onboard outweigh the positives and if you can cruise on a GREAT line (Royal Caribbean or Disney) vs an OK one, why would you settle for a less than great experience. Just my opinion. Also, they have more hidden costs, my $299 cruise cost me $1,153!!!
Standard shops of clothes, alcohol and crappy bags, watches, jewelry. Most cruises have awesome sales on items during the cruise, MSC rotated the same crap over and over and over, it was the clearance crap that no one wanted.
This company is terrible. They will over charge and double charge you and forget to assign your dining assignment so you can eat. You order room service and they forget to bring it. When they do it’s super disgusting and over priced. They will lock you out of your room at 9:30-10pm at night for house keeping randomly when you come back to go to bed. There is no where to buy any food if you miss your dinner. Everything closes at 9/10/11 pm until the next day unless you want one of the only 4 or 5 items on the 24 hr room service available that’s basically a Fyre Festival quality sandwich. They hardly clear the plates in the buffet so even if you can manage the hordes of people to get food since they don’t manage queues or anything, you’ll end up sitting next to someone else’s left over food scraps. And if you complain make sure you don’t say anything snarky or they will kick you off in a foreign country knowing you don’t have a passport while promising there would be a port agent to assist you when there wasn’t and promising someone from the cruiseline would call you right away to help you but they don’t call you til late the next day after you spend the night riding around with a friendly policeman who took pity and tried to help you find a vacant room and showed you where the embassy was. The cruise line will call the next day and say they thought you were medically disembarked and taken by ambulance to a hospital when you weren’t. You were just dumped out on the dock and left because they said if you’re so unhappy then it’s best you leave the ship. So they will lie about why they kick you off to cover themselves legally and leave you to fend for yourself in a foreign country knowing you have no passport. All the while promising to assist you the whole way just to keep you from making a scene in front of the other passengers. There are right and wrong ways to do things. They do not do things above board. I wouldn’t recommend someone risk their lives with these people. Something could have happened to me after being dumped alone in a high crime foreign city with no assistance or papers. MSC should be a cruise at your own peril.
