Absolutely, B Feldbush! Many people think embellishments are not for them (especially when they have more modern, and clean/minimalist style), but in reality the right type of add-ons and decorations can finish off AND lift up the entire look tremendously. I broke my one sewing machine making face masks during covid. I hate sewing machine 's I prefer hand sewing. With a machine I can't relax as something always goes wrong. So just simple hand sewing for me now. I wish I could make something so challenging but nope not me.
You must be very tiny to be able to make a skirt out of four sleeves (from two men's shirts) that fits you.. I'm considered small; but, I am not tiny. I use my scraps to make quilts.
You can always add fabric pieces of same length on the sides or another sleeve/s to make it work @arvettadelashmit9337. If you already make quilts, then a quilted style of added skirt would look great! The key is to pick colours or patterns that look beautiful together and appeal to your personal style ;) Have fun creating😊💃
