Aww my husband's name is Darryl also. Been married 18 years and together 20. Those financial problems really weighed on us but we made it through. Never had infidelity issues either thank God. Been so lucky to have a good husband. So glad to see black love like this.

This is true for my husband and I also. In 24 years we’ve never dealt with infidelity or betrayal of any kind. Our marriage has just been us learning to navigate the world together and learning how to properly love one another by first making our first stand. Which was, deciding that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and that was the one thing we were unwilling to negotiate. Everything else had to be built on this one premise, that we’d chosen each other and we committed ourselves to only making decisions that upheld this principle.
Marriage is about learning how to ask for forgiveness and being able to forgive as quickly as possible. The easier those processes become to you, the more quickly your marriage hurtles will smooth out. Not letting things, linger or fester, or not letting important conversations go un-had is critical to the health of your marriage. Properly communicating your emotions and/ or feelings is key. And being able to convey your feelings without personally attacking your mate is as well.
Marriage, cohabiting with another person is not easy. But it becomes less difficult as time goes by, so long as the objective is to protect and preserve your union with one another.

It seems all the good ones are gone.. I have been single & celibate for 11 years, patiently waiting upon the Lord to bring me my God ordained Husband. At times, I feel He has forgotten me.. But I wouldn't change these past 11 years for Nothing 🙌🏻
God has brought me through such a healing, sanctification, and purification process.. And I have grown so close to Jesus. With no friends, no man, no family to lean on, nothing BUT God. So when I watch families like yours, it gives me such hope for me & my almost 11 y/o daughter. Thank you for your transparency! God Bless you & your family ❤

I've homeschooled for 5 years now. There's so many programs available, it's very easy now. Time 4 learning is an awesome starting point !!!!

My sister's and I were homeschooled. It was pretty cool. We were on a regular Monday through Friday schedule as if we're in school. My parents bought this christian curriculum called Abeka. We woke up everyday said our prayers, made up our beds, washed our faces and brushed our teeth, got dressed, had breakfast then after began our lessons. We took miniature breaks throughout the day until lunch time. Went outside for recess to the park across the street. Came back inside took a nap then got up had a snack then finished up our lessons for the day. The only reason my parents stopped homeschooling us is because they never filled out the DC forms stating they wanted us to be homeschooled. So, my parents eneded enrolling in a private christian school that used the same curriculum. Check with your state about homeschooling forms and what are the requirements. I know my post is long. I hope this helps.

What's good family. I have been home school from all my life since I was a kid from my late Grandma at the time and my aunt who is still here has taught me in home school till community college. If y'all need any tips just ask away my aunt will let you know what's good. Other than that y'all are doing a great job with y'all kids trust and believe we need more parents like y'all into today's world. Keep up the great work. Peace.
I homeschool. Look into homeschooling through charters. With enrichment classes at a collective homeschool program
7 4 and 9 months. I felt that when you said it takes a lot of mental. Because each kid is at a different stage in their lives and I’ve been struggling I won’t lie. Feels like that baby takes up a lot of that time especially breastfeeding but just taking it one day at a time. But I feel Brit on the it feels like a circus lol

Brittt why you have us thinking y’all was like 39 hitting 40! I definitely agree with you when it comes to feeling like a circus. I’m on child one and newly married and I couldn’t imagine having three plus a husband. Trying to make sure I prioritize husband with a 6 month at times looks like little to no time to myself so it’s like we’re always doing tricks to keep things entertaining 🤣😂- I love it though. Would not trade it for anything in the world.
