- Our pasture raised chickens enjoy an amazing life. We harvest humanely in our own USDA inspected facility and butcher shop. We exceed organic standards because we don't use pesticides on our land. Raising animals naturally takes longer, the time and energy and money is significantly more than a high volume processing plant, where the meat comes from all over the place. Shop small farms!
Thank you from a grateful Maryland customer!
Great poultry and eggs! Nice to see the care involved how they are raised. Reminds us of videos on Joel Salatin’s pasture raised chickens. : )
I LOVE this!! You're the only place I buy my meat and eggs from. Keep up the good work! xoxo, the Crazy Egg lady in the CA :p
another 'crazy egg lady' LOL :) thank you for sharing that!!!! it means a lot!
🖐🏽 New customer. Thanks for showing the video!
Welcome! and thanks for the reach out!!!
I'm watching you from Turkey. I enjoy watching your farm and what you do. I congratulate you on your achievements. There is something I'm curious about. In my country, the climate varies greatly between summer and winter. In winter the weather is cold and very rainy. Since it is not possible for chickens to survive in the pasture during the winter, it is not possible for us to graze them in the pasture for 12 months.
Does climate change cause such a problem in your country? If so, how do you feed your chickens in winter?
Do you feed them corn and soy? Just curious. I love these videos. You are showing everyone how to thrive. Back to the garden. Back to pasture love. We must all now develop a relationship with the land, with dirt, the elements, the animals we raise, seeds.....hail to the heirloom seeds!!!
Thank you and all those involved with ⭕️ C farm for ALL that you do. Your dedication and love and care.
I believe that they don't. I forget the alternate they use for feed though; I think it is on their website. Have been buying their chicken for a few months and have been very happy so far ☺
We feed a rice and milo based feed. Rice is grown for us here in Florida :) Thanks for the reach out!
wow that IS hell on earth!
Heirloom chickens?
no a commercial breed that does great on pasture naturally :)
