The stihl 261 is ready for firewood season and starting it all off with a small dead elm. This cooler weather has got me in the mood for next years firewood stash.
That would be a great combo of saws, I have a 462 and 261 and it’s a perfect combo for me. I had my mind made up on a 500i then I found a ported 462 and bought it instead.
No, the 500i is a different animal. I always wanted to try one but the 462 is as big as I need for what I cut. I sun a 24” bar and it’s big enough for 90% of what I cut.
