Again, really clean looking! On the apex module, the rule for all electronics that are misbehaving is " when in doubt, quit out". Basically a reboot...
Just fyi, you don't need to prime pvc glue or use purple. The color is for jobsite inspections. Industrial clear is more than strong enough and you don't leave the purple goop all over. Just my .02. Tank looks awesome, can't wait for more updates.
Can’t wait to see the “power outage” test, and that tense moment of the water settling into the sump. Love the different color pipe to go with the RWB theme. Lastly how come you use ball valves not a gate valves, for your drain?
Don't sweat the length, these videos are awesome! I'm happy to see things are progressing so fast for you! I'm waiting till Black Friday to pick up a lot of my equipment.
Awesome stuff! I watched a video from MACNA about plumbing and they suggest using a silicon grease instead of teflon tape. Supposed to be a better seal and makes it easy to take back off if you need to. Just FYI.
A couple of things. One, that overflow looks like a Bean Animal Overflow, other than the second stand pipe doesn't have a drilled out safety tube. Did you glue the stand pipes to the sump drain bulkheads? Also, are the values on the sump bulkheads closed or open in the picture. Thanks.

Looking awesome Trav! Love the USA theme! Well done man and thanks for having me on the stream tonight!

I ‘went ahead’ and watched this;) Thanks👍
Looking forward to the next one
Wow that was a fast talking video, itt was very good .
Looks really good! should have painted the ball valves white, the grey is messing with my OCD.
This beast is coming incredible. I just recently upgrade to a 90 and I already want a 6' long... Buajajaja!!! I can wait to see it wet.
It's like watching Dr Frankenstein creating his monster and the excitement grows, so can't wait until you exclaim, "It's Alive!!!"
Where did you get the wayne check valve? i can not find one that looks like the one you used.
Love the new sump! Are you going to bubble-skim this tank?
What kind of sump box is on the bottom?
Very talented
This is awesome video very useful for me ... Sir plz make some video for about 4 feet fresh water aquarium bottom fish waste filtering system...
Love all the content! Wouldn’t that be a bean animal and not a Herbie since you are using 3 lines ?
Do you mind sharing the total cost of plumbing ?
hi, learnt a lot from your video. do DCP8000 for 6x2x2 tank sufficient? will replicate your tank with jebao WP40 top and also bottom. thanks
Nice job!!
Where can I get the blue pvc pipes?
bulkreefsupply.com
Does it have to have the siphon stoppers?
I use check valves
Oh ya my bad, thanks
Is the siphon stoppers from custom aquariums good to use or is the check valves better?
Can I plum the siphon stoppers the same way u did yr check valves?
How do you feel about corner flo style tanks? My buddy has a 180 gallon with corner overflow? $700 with stand.
It'll end up getting on your nerves.Spend the money and buy a new tank with a center or drill one yourself
Nice video
What did you do for that even flow to come out of 2 return lines?
used a ball valve above the check valve shown in this video to add back pressure to the other side
How do you like the H2Overflow? I'm deciding between that or the Synergy overflow.
Love them
Hey Travis, what PVC cutter brand are you using? If you have a link to them, even better. Great build and always great videos!
