I just installed my new intake today. The reason it wasn’t mentioned anymore in the video is because the stock airbox has a closed-off bottom where condensation would just accumulate, but the new intake is just wide open and doesn’t have a bottom so any condensation will just fall to the ground anyway

Maintaining the factory air Inlet and having that box style helps keep the iats as normal temps. Of course won’t be any cooler or warmer. It’s like it’s factory. I’m running AEM and on very hot days it stays within 90-120iats. On colder colds days it’s stays 60-90iats. With keeping all that enclosed it sure helps a lot. Without the shroud, I saw iats at 180-260iats😂😂😂 and the loss of power was real on that one.
Have you had the code read? Double check to make sure the MAF tube isn't installed backwards. If you're still having trouble, take some photos of the installed intake and reach out to customerservice@zzperformance.com
When you go back to stock the dealer can see that the tune was on the ecu and deny your claim. It is dependent on the dealership, so I will ask my dealer about it
Hey. Got a cart full of stuff including that intake. I’m trying to figure out if I should get a tune to go with the intake because I’m not trying to have my car run lean due to all the extra air. Any recommendations on what I should do or what I should but first for my car?
Hey Walter, no tuning is required with this Intake! Your MAF sensor will account for any added air flow and adjust accordingly. Thanks for your comment! GOFASTNOTBROKE
Rather my intake be quiet as it can be and not attract the wrong attention:) The problem I see is that the air inlet from the front to the filter is still stock and still restrictive even though the filter itself is less restrictive despite the noise it makes.
I can't wait to build my sonic with yalls parts
I just purchased this 🎉 can’t wait to install
ZZP VS THE WORLD!!!!
So….. did the vacuum line attached to the bottom of the air box just magically find a new home?

Dumb question but where did that condensation tube connected to the bottom of the stock air box end up going?
Yeah I was wondering that too.

Funny. But can you share data if the intake air temps went down at all? How much?

Picking up my gen 2 on Saturday! Excited but can't tune because I get a full warranty with it and can't afford not to have it
Warranty doesn’t affect the tuning . You can go back to stock anytime. I currently have a tuned 2nd gen Cruze

Any difference between this and aem intake?
when will the lsj 3 in cold air intake be back in stock?
does it come in sedan version?
Our cold air intake fits the Sedan and the hatchback.
I’m about to install mine today, was your with or without a tune?
You should not need a tune with our intake.

This intake does not cause a check engine light
Does it decrease gas mpg@@ZZPerformanceChannel
@@madebydade305ifynope, I just installed mine and I’m already seeing a 4-5mpg increase

hahaha
Where does the line go we unplugged go??
The fresh air inlet line gets reconnected to the intake down near the turbo inlet clamp. It presses back into the silicone.
