Honestly I was a little sad about that. She said she had a counterspell.. just only kill 5 of the flyers and stomp him.. keep enough mana for the counterspell.
@@TheGoldenkillit was a 5 mana counterspell. There was no way to have lethal and keep mana up. Also, she couldn't play it in his turn because of the Grand Abolisher. I think the play was to forget abour the rhopters and hit the value artifacts with a smaller intervention

God's Willing shouldn't have gone back to Kyle's hand. When he targets Zada with God's Willing Prof kills it in response with Goblin Bombardment so God's Willing doesn't have any legal targets and fails to resolve meaning Feather will not return God's Willing back to Kyle's hand. The initial event happens around 33:00 and you can see he returned it to hand when he recasts it in 40:30.
He even says “I’ll put it into exile since it targeted Feather”, but the card itself targeted Zada. The copy targeting Feather resolved, but the card itself did not resolve, so Feather’s replacement effect should not have seen it.
The trigger is on cast, and it was cast targetting a legal target, it failed to resolve but was still cast with a legal target. Feather just says when you cast an instant or sorcery that targets a creature you control, it doesn't say that it needs to successfully resolve.

"Untap, upkeep, draw" is like a ritual mantra for starting a turn. "U pay da 2" is a reflex you learn for that card. End step interactions usually can be avoided in many decks, and I suppose Kyle builds without them.
One of the most hilarious commander games I've ever watched. Great harmony between all the players, good power level balance, decent threat evaluation, good jokes, good level of petiness. 5/7, would watch again. Thank you!
As a german, I approve if Feder and the attempt on the professors end to pronounce it. Especially the "Immer" was close to understandable! I'm impressed.
I feel bad for Kyle. What happened to him with feather, often happens to my feather deck too. It gets picked on because it can hit "hard" and that's scary but it quickly becomes not scary after dying 5 times.

I haven't missed a SUP episode... And this is my favorite by far... I think it has to do with the layers of interactions which opens itself up to misplays but the group was so chill that it made the whole experience really enjoyable. Keep it up y'all

yeah. I don't get people who don't pay their taxes. Like I can understand the fish, but you can play around that regardless and it will go away eventually. Smothering tithe can be very rough but it's in the realm of possibility to do it, and a rhystic player should almost never draw off of it, that card advantage wins games.
I mean, I don't understand using your treasures before tapping lands either... but yeah, paying the tax is like not feeding the fish, you're meant to do it.
It's called Ego, it's what outcast need who've never hit the gym have. I can assure you you'll leave your ego out of the door once you start tearing your bicep in the gym because you think "big numbers mean me stronk"

yeah. I don't get people who don't pay their taxes. Like I can understand the fish, but you can play around that regardless and it will go away eventually. Smothering tithe can be very rough but it's in the realm of possibility to do it, and a rhystic player should almost never draw off of it, that card advantage wins games.
I mean, I don't understand using your treasures before tapping lands either... but yeah, paying the tax is like not feeding the fish, you're meant to do it.
It's called Ego, it's what outcast need who've never hit the gym have. I can assure you you'll leave your ego out of the door once you start tearing your bicep in the gym because you think "big numbers mean me stronk"

I loved this episode! Voxy, Joey, Kyle and Prof make for fantastic energy! Joey's mom made a great deck! I vote for having her and Joey play 2HG Commander vs. Prof and George.

@@Dannerrrr She wanted to break his board. She needed to remove his blockers for the attack. She had lethal if she got rid of the flyers.
