The Gazelle Champion Mondial AA-Super (Reynolds 531 tubing) is special.
It needs the Campagnolo C-Record group, with the Deltas.

Hey Andy..looking forward for your new Buildings..have a nice Christmas with your Family and Friends..stay safe and healthy.
Greetings from Germany and hey.. there‘s a train..👍😀🙋♂️
😂 Thanks for the support and you buddy hope your enjoying the festive period. Take care 👍
Loving the Gazelle - you probably know all this already but here goes:
The Super was sold with either normal or mono seat stays up until 1988. After that only with normal stays, but it was dropped from the range around 1989/1990.
It came back revamped and gorgeous as the Criterium in 1996 with Silva lugs and extremely dropped seat stays. Had something to do with the design being adapted to the springy qualities of R531 and an alleged brainstorm session between the Heads of the racing and service departments…
Btw. mine was a 1996 pearl white, with Rigida DP24 wheels and Sachs New Success groupset (which was not all that durable tbh).
I wasn’t aware so big thanks for this just taken a screenshot of your comment 👍 thanks for your support and watching I hope your enjoying the festive period, all the best
Will suggest my favorite vintage groupset, the Suntour Superbe Pro, picked up a Sugino 75 anniversary groupset earlier this year
Yes it’s a Groupset I’ve never featured, probably a hard one to locate pretty rare. I’d love to get my hands on one. Thanks for watching all the best
Have a great Christmas Andy, looks like lots of nice builds to look forward to in '22 :-)
Certainly got my work cut out, looking forward to getting stuck in. All the very best hope your enjoying the festive period 👍

*Acieed, A-A-Acieed* !
Please tell me you were in the Hacienda throwing big-fish-little-fish-cardboard box to that D-Mob banger, back in the day?!
And thanks - that's gonna be stuck in my head for the next few days 😂!
Mate, the Hac was on my doorstep and yes I’m still partying just less often these days. 😉🕺 Hope your enjoying the festive period all the best pal thanks for your support
Top andy ✌🏼
Thanks 🙏
Aceeeeeed !
🤪😂🕺
Hi Andy I live near a train track so really didn't notice until you said there's another train lol.
To be honest I don’t notice myself until I start filming & editing. Thanks for the support pal all the best
Hi Andy I always enjoy your entertaining videos have you ever considered moving 🙃
Loving your your future project’s and in my opinion you should make the trains a regular feature all aboard for the new year
Cheers from Bunbury Western Australia ☀️🚴🚴♂️🚴🚴♂️🚴🚴♂️🚴🚴♀️ 🚴
Love it 🚂 not a bad suggestion! I have a few friends now down under, if I had the quals then maybe, I’m a fire fighter full time which doesn’t add up to much for entry I believe. All the best Paul Merry Christmas 🎄 hope your enjoying the festive period and thanks again for the support 😉👍
Oh and BTW that noise at 06:55 sounds to me like an ASDA delivery van reversing ...
Love it….your probably spot on there. All the best thanks for watching
Fantastic projects Andy, so let me use your favorite phrase: "Ican't wait!" I truly believe you should keep the original paint and decals for the Gazelle. Looks to me the frame is from the mid 80's, I would say around 1986 (check out team Skala Skil). Gazelle was always associated with Campagnolo in the 70's and 80's, at least for all the pro teams, Frisol, Daf Trucks, Perlav Eurosoap, Skala Skil, etc. I wish you a great holiday season and may you pedal happily into the new year! Greetings from Texas. Michel
I’ll be taking a screenshot of your comment and researching them team bikes, thanks for your knowledge and support. All the best for 2022 hope your enjoying the festive period 😉🎄👍
😍
Thanks
Hi Andy, can I ask where you get all the vintage frames, wheels and groupsets from ? Are they customer bikes restored to order or just sourced online etc. ?
Hi thanks for watching, majority of my purchases are from good old eBay. Hope this helps all the best
How about something with a Suntour Superbe Pro 8 speed group on it?
Love to, it’s just finding one I’ll keep my radar on
heres a question who made concord bikes i heard made in japan i dont believe that i had a hercules racing bike as a young adult they were a english company but also a germany company
Not to sure I’ll have to research that one. Concord is a brand on my hit list, watch this space
Colnago - campag record with deltas ,,, you know I’m right Andy
What size is the colnago btw?
The Colnago is a 56, spot on my size so should make a great ride for the video. Thanks for watching all the best
@@BikeItUK A little bit to big for me,, I’d need 54 max , I’m itching for a vintage Colnago but I’m terrified to pull the trigger in case I don’t ride the thing and treat it like a museum piece. They deserve to be ridden.
!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching
@@BikeItUK thank you for so many more awesome projects to come.
Do you know where I can get some workshop towels to wipe the mouthful of tea from my screen because of those trains?
😂 mate it can be so frustrating…..thanks for the support all the very best 👍
@@BikeItUK No, thank you Andy, because of your videos I've saved a '86 Raleigh milk race and fully restored it with golden arrow groupset and some other nice period touches, trying to figure out how to get the white back on a no4 Raleigh pump.
All the best to you and your family, looking forward to the new series of videos.
Any more BMXs?
Oh yes I’ve got a gold Raleigh tuff burner being resprayed at the moment, completely forgot to mention that 😉👍
@@BikeItUK great! Can't wait
😍
Thanks
