Yeah Steve...there's that rail line under the bridge that travels a little north to the south station, a terminates there! It used to travel up by the Police station!
It travels south and curves to the east then go north to the eastside of town...up and joins the lines that go east to Preston!

Woodheads used to be Fieldings chippy on Simpson Street. Lovely chips. I remember the down stairs toilets opposite Pablo's, and The 15:12 Beach pub. Also, didn't Mo from the Roly Poly's own a B&B at the end of Station Road? Love South Shore. All my childhood memories there❤Thanks Stephen 👍🙂

Forget the local swinger's clubs, you two would definitely be couple of swingers indeed ! Lol

I’m amazed those tram rails are still embedded in the road in places. Our Pleasure Beach closed for the season after October half term.

I remember back in the mid-late 1990's, I took my sister and young neice to Calais, France for a day trip. We stayed in Dover overnight in a B&B and got the ferry across, as foot passengers.
As I had a few pints on the ferry, by the time we were walking around the streets of Calais, I was dying for a pee.
We found one of those toilets, similar to the one at the start of your video, but it was faulty. The door wouldn't automatically slide shut, so I managed to force it shut, then my sister had to fight to keep it shut whilst I had a pee. It was quite funny
I remember, back then, there was a real problem with dog owners not clearing up after their dogs along the pavement and my sister had to dodge all the dog poo whilst pushing my neices buggy. I remember too, the odd colours of the dog poo (I don't know what they feed their dogs over there?).

    • @AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool

Funny enough, I visited a town called Confolens in central France, not far from Limoges. I was surprised at the amount of dog poo on the streets.
