Even though christmas by the sea is on good on you for showing the south end of blackpool. You promote all of blackpool even off season. Appreciated🎉🎉🎉
@@mikebryan7060 Met someone from Chorley at Christmas by the Sea and I said it was a nice little town, but he didn’t think so & preferred Blackpool lol
Hi Stephen. Thanks for sharing your walk around. Nice to see a lot of people enjoying the Christmas market. Was great seeing you yesterday. Hope your foot is better soon. Take care and all the best. Mildred xxx
Yeah Steve...there's that rail line under the bridge that travels a little north to the south station, a terminates there! It used to travel up by the Police station! It travels south and curves to the east then go north to the eastside of town...up and joins the lines that go east to Preston!
I think Blackpool is doing pretty well considering it's out of season now. We are coming up in January for a couple of days. Hope to see you around town Stephen, the pint is on me.!!
Woodheads used to be Fieldings chippy on Simpson Street. Lovely chips. I remember the down stairs toilets opposite Pablo's, and The 15:12 Beach pub. Also, didn't Mo from the Roly Poly's own a B&B at the end of Station Road? Love South Shore. All my childhood memories there❤Thanks Stephen 👍🙂
Mo Moreland and her husband Roy had a hotel on Station Road. I remember meeting her a few times when she lived opposite where I used to work in South Shore after her husband had passed. Lovely woman.
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Thanks for confirming that about Mo. Bless her ❤ Also, nice to hear that she was as lovely as she always came across on TV.
Thanks for the update Stephen as I've said many times before South Shore is my favourite part of Blackpool and has been been for many years i hope your foot gets better soon take care
Hi Stephen, I would love to see you and MacMaster Swinging together on that thing on the pier. Forget the local swinger's clubs, you two would definitely be couple of swingers indeed ! Lol I think the video would go viral, especially If you'd both had Fish & Chips and Donuts before lol. Just think how much you could raise for the children's hospice charity. I think you need to arrange something ASAP ! Lol 😂
Ya know Steve?...The Council should commission the build of a 'slow coaster' out there on the beach to ride during high tide! That would be a hoot! Seriously! That would pack em' in to Blackpool!
We have the same problem here in my town homeless and vagrants drinking powerful lager and cider that would blow you and myself’s brains out probably 9% or stronger. I’m amazed those tram rails are still embedded in the road in places. Our Pleasure Beach closed for the season after October half term.

Evening Stephen, some really good old stock buildings there, shame how they're being left to rot. Remember that area in the 60s and 70s and like you said it was a big shopping area. Great video mate, cheers.
You are spot on about the illuminated add signs Stephen, we have one outside our football club very distracting in low light, similar to those I am all right Jack headlights they can see great everyone else is dazzled either head on or through your mirrors.
Thanks for the video Stephen, 20p to pee, I remember when it was free .Those apartment buildings are beautiful but Blackpool has a load of lovely buildings I really hope they keep them. You're right about those screens they will cause accidents. As for that swing ride dear god it's a heart attack on string! Look after your foot Stephen.😊😊😊
Treat yourself to a chiropody/podiatry appointment, gethem to massage the foot and manipulate it,and fit you professionally with a made to measure insert for your shoe, you be pain free then, and in your job you need to be out walking, take care brother stephen🎉🎉
You could turn the old toilet into a beer monsters kiosk for the 10% alchohol lol 🤣i like station road its not that bad there i imagine those houses are all flats and they be quite big inside them i think in the victorian days that area was probably a wealthy or middle class area but now days they house beer monsters in them who call it a gaff lol but the cafe looks quite luxury id have a meal in there 👍❤️😊✋
It is a shame isnt it that these places are brought down my folk with adictions because you could have a really decent person with a small child living next door to a drunk but councils these days only want theyre rent 👍😊❤️
Its like that were i live oxton is 1 place that used to be suburban posh area in the 1980s but now you find beer monsters on every corner asking for a nicker which is a pound its either for cans or drugs and the ymca hostel is only a mile away from oxton i avoid folk like that if you give them eye contact they pounce lol but as you say its a shame for the nice folk 😊👍❤️
I remember back in the mid-late 1990's, I took my sister and young neice to Calais, France for a day trip. We stayed in Dover overnight in a B&B and got the ferry across, as foot passengers. As I had a few pints on the ferry, by the time we were walking around the streets of Calais, I was dying for a pee. We found one of those toilets, similar to the one at the start of your video, but it was faulty. The door wouldn't automatically slide shut, so I managed to force it shut, then my sister had to fight to keep it shut whilst I had a pee. It was quite funny I remember, back then, there was a real problem with dog owners not clearing up after their dogs along the pavement and my sister had to dodge all the dog poo whilst pushing my neices buggy. I remember too, the odd colours of the dog poo (I don't know what they feed their dogs over there?).
Hi from 🇨🇦 great video, I watched another video on blackpool and apparently there are all these Yobs that are around bothering tourists,😮 hope that's not true😮
Thank you very much and very Well Appreciated. Blackpool is looking rather Lovely and calm for now. Have you thought about, visiting a Foot Specialist or a Chiropractor. Your Feet, are very Complicated, with Muscles and Tiny Nerves that act in a Strange way. I have had Inflamation in my Right hand Foot for a while, i am taking Ibuprofen and i am going on Walks around my little town were i live. I Hope that, you manage to get your Foot sorted with some Medical Attention. Take great Care of Yourself Stephen. Jonathan/ Peterborough.

A “Weak Bridge” road sign certainly instills confidence…. 😮
The Lytham Rd and Station Rd trams ended in 1961. The Marton trams went in 1962 and Dickson Rd in 1963.
Thanks for the info. A fair bit before my time.

Just been out to do a video. It'll be up on Sunday evening.

Hi Steven do you know crossleys bridge ?
Yes, it is Plymouth Road, and the bridge was named after Crossley's Mill, which used to be by the railway.
Stayed in the Grand before it burned down
There is a very old video on UA-cam of the trams going over the bridge where the Grand was, and also the train station.

Popular places like Blackpool always attract those that bother tourists, like fake charity wristband sellers and the like.
Stephen, have you ever stayed in a traditional B&B? Do you plan to do a video one one?
Yes, but not in Blackpool. I’ve no plans to do any videos of B&Bs. I’ll leave that to Katie Myers.

Burlington Road is the name of the Pleasure Beach Station.
@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool oh then it would of been Waterloo Road I think
