Equal barrel lengths are as equal as it’s going to get. Besides, the 50 AE proves it’s worth here. Not quite the same energy but damn near equal real world performance.
If I had seen a scene like that in a movie, I would have said that it is Hollywood BS and unrealistic. But, here it is. These things are real and they're spectacular!
The S&W 500 is a beast, I’ve shot the bone collector model which is basically identical to the one in this video. With the 10 inch barrel it’s surprisingly not too bad shooting one handed. I’d never try it with a snub nose though.
So in terms of actual testing they were equal, they both made it through the steel, but the 500 magnum won through extraneous yet definitively telling results. Great video Scott, I wish you would do more versus episodes.
There are some pretty awesome .380 Uzis out there that will empty the mag before the first casing hits the floor. Would make for a really cool slow mo capture.
I love your 500 mag shows. I have one. Never been so scared to shoot a gun. And you shoot both the desert eagle at the same time? The 500 is a gun I am so proud of. Enjoy your videos and am so glad your are ok after your accident! Have a merry Christmas!,
I think when you're falling into a hundred feet and shoot both of the gun at the same time you can literally slow down your falling but just a little bit i think idk
You would make enough energy to slow you down but it would be so insignificant you'd still be fucked and make it worse because you probably broke your wrists and then landed on something made of metal and potentially pierce yourself. But uh... Have fun I guess
A few years ago when I seen a video of yours with the Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum 10.5" barrel Performance Center, I went out and bought that very same gun. It's my favorite to shoot out of all my guns. Awesome video Bro
The SW has literally TWICE the muzzle energy of the 50 AE. Everything about the 500 magnum is a RIFLE cartridge and everything about the 50 AE is a PISTOL cartridge.
@@bryanhinds8522 You are incorrect Bryan. I own the 8 3/8" model and reload my own ammo. It uses large rifle primers and SW had to even design a different frame to even shoot thie ammo. Just because it's a "pistol" revolver doesn't mean it's a pistol. It's a revolving rifle. I can load a 700 gr bullet for my gun. There's no pistol on the planet that could shoot that kind of weight.
the deagle, particularly in the extended barrel configuration is a hunting handgun, which has similar performance to a variety of cowboy rifles. The 500 is a hybrid between the upper end of hunting handguns and the lighter elephant guns. The deagle can push 1200-1800 lbs, which is comparable to light rifles like the 5.56 and 7.62x39, while the 500 pushes around 2200-3000 lbs, similar to a .308 and .30-06, but the momentum and mass of the 500 is useful for African big game requirements in the 400-700 grain range, while the 300-350 grains of the deagle meets the standards of north american game. You can hunt elk or buffalo with either and put down bears, but when it comes to polar bears, rhinos, and elephants, the 500 magnum is a safer choice.
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed the video! 😁

Soopy Picle Yeah cuz denting a plastic jug requires the same force as destroying a cinder block. Get over it turd.
That desert eagle looks ridiculous 😯
Robert that s&w 50 cal is awesome
Definitely the DE 10 inch. If y'all think I'm wrong debate it with yourselves.
Man only with revolvers can you act like Clint Eastwood
I got 3 revolvers whatchu meaaaaan
8:56 sounds like someone is shooting big guns I bet ares are bigger lmao😂🤣😂🤣
Spencer Malliet best part
That Desert Eagle is a BEAST!!!
6:30
"Sounds like someone else is shooting some big guns. Betcha ours are bigger!" Pure joy
2 points for deagle and 2 for the magnum because the deagle damaged the 6 waterbottle und the magnum did not
The magnum coudnt damage the next one due to where it hit the side of the container.
my first real response when i saw the desert eagle: "wtf is that?"
The S&W 500 is a beast, I’ve shot the bone collector model which is basically identical to the one in this video. With the 10 inch barrel it’s surprisingly not too bad shooting one handed. I’d never try it with a snub nose though.
Not really into guns, but this guy is immediately one of my favorite youtoubers
So in terms of actual testing they were equal, they both made it through the steel, but the 500 magnum won through extraneous yet definitively telling results. Great video Scott, I wish you would do more versus episodes.
I don't understand why people dislikes his video? Guns are cool.
Snobs and elite leftists
Dude, you should shoot .22 and .380 just to mess with us. That would be hilarious. 😂
Have a merry Christmas!,
"what do you need that for? Going huntin' elephants?"
Stranger, stranger!
To hunt siren head
I'm proud to know where thats from ✊✊
"Not enough cash, stranger!"
@@phxmaell1338 AAAAaAaaaAAAaahHhhh
I think when you're falling into a hundred feet and shoot both of the gun at the same time you can literally slow down your falling but just a little bit i think idk
probably just break your wrists
Sad Kneega you’ve been playing too many video games bruh wtf are you talking about
You would make enough energy to slow you down but it would be so insignificant you'd still be fucked and make it worse because you probably broke your wrists and then landed on something made of metal and potentially pierce yourself.
But uh... Have fun I guess
Y'all must be real fun at parties.
Meanwhile in MW the desert eagle cant even shoot through a cargo container
Put some fmj stopping power rounds, and longest barrel, shipment approved, I run it with my trusty ax50
A few years ago when I seen a video of yours with the Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum 10.5" barrel Performance Center, I went out and bought that very same gun. It's my favorite to shoot out of all my guns.
Awesome video Bro
Use Buffalo Bore Dangerous Game cartridges in 500 Smith and Wesson Magnum to out penetrate the Desert Eagle 350 grain FMJ loading.
Why do you have a uncircumcised desert eagles?
Alllllll the girls like it
YNIC Rambo easier to peel off shots much like the other uncircumcised thangs
@@p0rcs "peel off"

10:50 wyatt earp would have been proud
You have the best video's yet, keep up the great work. I'll be watching. THANKS...
Those are two great looking guns. I'm surprised the DE stood up so well against the 500 S&W.
The SW has literally TWICE the muzzle energy of the 50 AE. Everything about the 500 magnum is a RIFLE cartridge and everything about the 50 AE is a PISTOL cartridge.
the S&W .500 was designed as pistol ammunition from the start it is not a rifle round, but the rifles made to chamber this round has even more power.
@@supergrendel
It's not a rifle. No matter how you try to twist it.
supergrendel they make production 700 grain hard casts, to be fired in the 500.
I think hardcast has an advantage over jacketed soft lead
Friggin awesome slow mow shooting at same time!!! Sweet!!
