Lucy, you have a wonderful talent! Your cards are amazing and I love that you fast forward so we can enjoy a video with so much content in a shorter time! Thank you for sharing with us. I’m in the US.....Arizona.
Love these cards. I did make quite similar cards with this paper. I often prefer the 12 inch sheets and chop up for my cards. Cut up quite a few UC Christmas papers tonight with that in mind actually 😊
Beautiful paper and love your mixed media… plus I was hoping you would do some smooshing of the black/gold inks so they wouldn’t go to waste… and you did👍Gorgeous cards!!!
Wow, they all turned out really pretty. I like the one where you did a little rip at the top and had different paper behind. I love the look of that but rarely remember to do it! Well done. :D
I don't have a favorite. I love all these cards. I struggle to make vintage cards, but you made this look so easy. Just found you, now I'm a subscriber!!
Beautiful job, I just subscribed to your channel. I do have some of these kind of pattern papers and never thought to using them like this to make cards until I watched your video. I loved all the different techniques you used. I. Going to give it a try😊 thank you for sharing your talents with us❤
These are lovely! I really like the way you cut with a craft knife … I never seem to be able to do that so neatly. I see you kind of tap it at each end… would you be able to include exactly how you do that in a future video?
Thanks Jo, yes I can definitely add the “knife cutting” in a more detailed way. Although I’ve bought many cutting tools/guillotines etc I still find using my craft knife and ruler the easiest, my sister thanks I’m crazy hehe! Xox
Hi Jo, I hope you're well. I just thought I'd let you know I show in a slower more detailed way how I cut with my knife in my latest video. I make reference to you but unfortunately I didn't have your name with me when I did the voiceover. Have a fab day XOX Lucy
It was lovely to wake up to your new video, Lucy! (I’m in Oregon, USA.) I got several ideas from you. I hadn’t thought to ink my paper and make die cuts or strips from it. Every card was just lovely; I loved them all. ♥️💕
It was lovely to wake up to your sweet message Kaylyn! I love that I gave you a couple of ideas from this video and thank you so much for messaging me. Have a fab weekend 🥰♥️♥️
Beautiful paper Lucy you really have created some stunning cards. I always struggle with those papers but you have given me some great ideas how to use my patterned papers. TFS good tutorial. Please keep your videos coming can't wait to watch your next one. Kathy Sth Wst Sydney
Loved them all, but the slimline was my favorite from this video. I don't see many of them made. Buy my very favorite thing on this video was combining the Perfect Pearls with the ink to make something very different. Loved it.
I've been watching your videos from the oldest ones to the newest ones 😂(this one so far). And have been amazed by your creativity 🤩 so I finally decided to subscribe 😊. Keep sharing your amazing talent 🤗😍
This is great!! I'm going to go through my 12 x 12 papers to see if I have any i can do this with. Also, your mixing perfect pearls and ink is genius!!! Thanks!!
Beautiful cards! Thank you for showing the techniques. Would you please share your recipe/ratio of talcum powder and bicarbonate for the embossing sock? Thank you!
Thank you so much Diana. Ooh I would say (and I haven’t filled it in about a year) that I think it’s roughly 2/3 talc and 1/3 bicarbonate and I don’t think it needs to be too precise. I hope this helps Xox Lucy
Thank you ☺️. I use Selleys Aquadhere which has a nozzle so very easy to fill (but try to fill it from above so the glue doesn’t touch the sides of the small bottle, maybe I’ll add how I do it in an upcoming video). Enjoy your weekend Xox
Beautiful cards, Lucy. And for me an added bonus is that you are Australian (I’m Australian too). Can you tell me the brand of the “happy birthday” die with the shadow. I’ve been searching for one I like and this fits the bill beautifully
Thanks Sam. I buy my 350gsm card wholesale as I purchase in bulk but I’ve just Googled and found some on EBay, Crafty Divas and here’s a link to a 300gsm pack at Spotlight (I generally only use 350gsm for the large C5 cards) - www.spotlightstores.com/art-craft/paper-craft/paper-cardboard/paper-220-gsm/francheville-white-cardstock-100-pack/80556988?gclsrc=aw.ds&gclsrc=aw.ds&gclid=CjwKCAjwquWVBhBrEiwAt1KmwojP_6WH8UyiqULXaUPCljntlYZJYpn-OTPXHoWpUenxrS1THa6XeBoC5xQQAvD_BwE - I hope this helps Xox
Hi Lucy. Love your work. I live in Australia too and am wondering if the dies you use to cut out your cardfronts are for A6 (rather than US/Canadian A2)? If so, can you tell me what they are/where you got them cos I get tired of having to continually adapt from US/Canadian sizes to ours.
Hi Celina and thank you! Yes, the rectangle dies I have fit perfectly with Australian sized cards (14.8cm x 10.5cm). The largest rectangle fills the whole card front, the second leaves a lovely sized border and I use these all the time. You can find them at Uniquely Creative and here's the link to the nesting die set. I hope this helps, they're a great price too! www.uniquelycreative.com.au/collections/nesting-dies/products/stitched-nesting-rectangle-die

Lovely cards. Thanks for reminding me that I can just ink my white paper to coordinate my sentiments. Yes!!!
Wow! Lovely!! I love the way you used sandpaper on one card, scalloped border on another, and inked card stock for added color!
Thank you so much, I’m glad you loved these different edges 😁♥️♥️
