Lara pleaaaase throw out the blush without the lid 😂I doubt it's safe to use anymore. You can use highlighter underneath blush or on top of blush, it'll get you the same effect 😟 btw, I love that you - unlike other makeup users - keep makeup around for a while and not throw out a product after 2 years of having it because it's "too old"! The heaps of makeup items people are decluttering and throwing in the bin makes me super sad :/ We only have one earth and there's so much to consider when decluttering and purchasing products (e.g. recycling of the packaging, environment-polluting ingredients, shipping of the products...).
Let yourself use the new blushes since they’re new and exciting then go crazy trying to pan things. I know not everyone understands the desire to use things up even if you’re not in love with them but I get it girl!! I’m here with you! The only time I really declutter things is if something’s is truly not working for me, like if the color is bad on my skin tone and it makes me look worse lol.
You’ve been doing better about decluttering the things that truly do not work for you lately so I’m excited for you to spend a month with each blush and really decide if you actually want to use it or if you’re ready to let it go!!
I’ve been cycling through my blushes by doing a 50-use goal. I usually have several in my everyday basket at a time and I rotate through those until I hit 50 uses. Then, I switch them out. I do use other blushes here and there, but I’m enjoying the ones I use and am glad to see them used.
I'm both glad and sad about your newfound live for cream blushes.😅 glad, because you get to enjoy using the cream blushes you already have and sad because I've lost a member from my cream blush hater club haha😂
Layer blush. Do the Patrick Ta method where you where a powder blush first & wear a cream/liquid on top. Also do a monochromatic look where you wear the blush as both eyeshadow & blush too. Powder & cream can be worn multiple ways. Cream can also be worn a lip color
I love your view on makeup. I think you should declutter what doesn't excite you to reach for. You're very mindful of what you bring in and your collection looks used. I was challenged to count each pan of blush throughout my collection, such as face palette and such and I'm kinda in shock. Hard pan is so frustrating, but it could also be the age of the product maybe, idk. Tarte is one of my favorite formulas but not all are created equal within their line. 628 pans of blush is what I own and I reach for the same 5. Insanity. And why my no buy is extremely necessary.
I will also say, that milk blush in werk may be expired or a bad batch because I’ve had 2 minis and that’s not at all what the pigment looked like. It had decent pigment and never swatched or went on that sheer. I never used a powder blush over it and it definitely showed up on me
I don't know how old you are but I'm guessing early twenties. You have enough not too old blush(that you actually like) to last you at least until you hit that 30th birthday 😊 So....why hold on to something that's too old, not favorite, and probably not safe/or usable anymore? I'm thinking Wnw, NYX, tarte, maybe Mac.
I ca'nt understand, why you're waisting your lifetime with products you do'nt love and textures you do'nt like? Use what really love and let go, what you do'nt love. If you my age (over 50), you'll regret the time you spend with things you do'nt loved. Sorry, but i really ca'nt understand it...
I think part of it is that in the past, there have been products that I really disliked, but when I gave them another chance or tried them a different way, I ended up loving them! So I feel that all products deserve this kind of consideration

I’m definitely trying to do a good mix between enjoying my new blushes and still using my old ones!

The hourglass palette is one of my favorites! If you don't use it you can definitely sell it. I think its a palette still many people want! 😊
