This is the best conversation I’ve ever seen. Pure Gold in terms of networking and finding the right value
Non IIT Guy here. While growing up I never got the hype for IIT exams till I joined my previous company. There was a clear 5-10 year head start compared to folks who came from non IIT colleges. There's literally a job site that hires from IIM/IIT only. As a non IIT guy you're pretty much left with excess hard work to grow.
I didn’t know that IIT exist, Never heard any of the friend or schoolmate or cousin clearing it or even attempting it. Well there is other india within India MD majorly they don’t know any option to catapult their life. In digital era that is changing and we will see so much fo demand supply gap, cannot imagine what students will go through in next few years.
Obviously I found it out after 10th grade, and many told me it is too late to prepare now, had just 1.5 year with me. No coaching classes in my hometown. Disinterested teachers who didn’t like IIT, they pushed their students to go for pure sciences.
@@Kathakathan11 I guess you are quite lucky to have teachers who pushed you towards pure sciences...
@@336suryasunkaramech5 that’s doesn’t help a lot, not giving freedom in what to choose. We don’t have lot of scope in pure sciences in this country as well honestly. Thinking about pay scale they get, I better choose IT job. Only few make through all levels and actually work in research, others end up becoming teachers, underpaid and overworked in thankless jobs.
The main goal of my teachers was to not let us join any coaching classes. Now that’s nice, but in this world you are out of the competition if you say no to it I first place. I still wish they guided me enough to pursue BSC physics, they didn’t care after the school ended. And I was left clueless of what to do.
This happened with all the batches I know.
@@Kathakathan11 Well for sure ,but Engineering is very vague degree for 80% of engineers . Its just a qualification to work in any industry . You for Sure my friend , is doing something which you admire and may be get there in 5-8 years which is not vague . Rest of engineers , that I've met even in age group of 30-40 years old are scared from there skillset , even though they learn latest tech around requirements . So it might be scary for you to think about your life in particular field as absurd but niche skillset are hard to replace because mostly they come from person's ambition and passion .
Sanchit .. I knew his journey all along. He is younger child of my Chemistry Tutor. Happy to see him reach highs in his career 🎉
It has been so long since i have heard such a smooth, good quality discussion ! Keep this up !
The thing I noticed is the non iitians have more diverse experience and have more to share while the iitians kept on saying network network...... They missed out on the most important and interesting part in the journey of an entrepreneur which they acknowledged in the video about the grind
Why because non iiitians dhakke khake upar aate hai.
Well I dont think of talent as much and really think IITians mostly identified their peak when they are in plus2, and nothing seems to be much difficult because of this for them . Whereas I and my peers , who graduated from 3rd tier(SGSITS), take most of the things at my peak and brags most of the time.

Such good conversation❤
This is amazing stuff guys! Unique!
super amazing video!
would be better if the audio matched the video - not really a problem, just that it would be a better experience
anyways, great content! will keep watching out for more!
The contrast here, Non IITIAN founders and NON IITIAN employees is massive.
Entrepreneurship proves to be a level playing field machine.
Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.
I subscribed for a few trading courses but it didn't help much, been getting suggestions to use a proper financial advisor, how did you go about touching base with your adviser
Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $483k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently.
wow ,that’s stirring! Do you mind connecting me to your advisor please. I desperately need one to diversified my portfolio
The adviser I'm in touch with is 'Jude Ryan Mcdonough' He works with Merrill, Pierce, Smith incorporated and interviewed on CNBC Television. You can use something else, for me his strategy works hence my result. He provides entry and exit point for the securities I focus on.
Thanks, I just googled him I'm really impressed with his credentials. I reached out to him since I need all the assistance I can get.
Loved Vivekananda's candid and real answers! Maybe add in women founders, non IIT and you can see a whole new perspective on VC funding
Well if u want whole perspective then iit to non iit ratio will be close to 7-3...
Maybe invite a few VCs to see what they think upon it as well
Guys , try for iit , but not at the cost of giving up everything in life … Kota life is not worth it … if you get in good , if not goto any regular college and keep trying… some day you will succeed and even if not corporate life these days pays a lot and if nothing works out in 6-7 years , just migrate to some western country or dubai … these days there are a lot of opportunities world over … most important is to keep a calm mind , work towards your skill set , be happy , healthy, sleep well , make friends and slowly keep working towards your goals … don’t get carried away by hustle culture … it does not get you far
All of them were amazing and really helpful.
But Vivekananda's comments were more helpful. Really appreciate him for giving us the insights and thoughts.
It's not about IIT or non-IIT it's about dream, creativity and leadership 🙏
Good luck living with that opinion in real world
@@clashdevil2925 I live in real world and I don't really need a tag to do what I have done. There maybe 1000-2000 IITians so you mean to say the other people are waste. Oh may be you are from anohter world 😅
@@clashdevil2925 I don't need IIT tag to prove what I can do. Steve jobs, Mark zukerberg, Elon Musk, Ratan Tata etc. are not IITians Maybe you always close your eyes when it comes to see the world and absorb the environment.

Founders' journeys are fascinating, but the fact that many of them wouldn't want their kids to go through the same thing shows that simple happiness is more important than success.
Why they don't want their kids to do the same reasons
If you aren't successful then how can you be happy?
success is subjective that's why@@ayanbhattacharjee1076

Degree matter or not I don't know but you have big college degree so you have job security that means you can take risk by doing startup we don't have that privelage
I didn't know Vladimir Kramnik studied in india😮
Really good interview.
The founder of Bounce is amazing, looks very down to earth and insightful.
While it is true that many successful entrepreneurs have emerged from the prestigious IITs, Non-IITian founders bring a diverse range of experiences, perspectives, and skills to the table, which can be equally valuable in the startup ecosystem. I believe most founders who are IITian they get success. But at the same time I think mostly Non IITians are at the top, so we can’t say who’s better. Yes, there are a lot differences and that’s what makes them different...
Very unique content. Loved it. ❤
As an IITan, I 100% agree with the safety net thing. I also think that it is a double edged sword. Because some of non-IIT friends say that -'bro u have this amazing position, and u r not taking advantage of it...if i was in ur position,I would've this and that'. That creates a massive imposter syndrome.
" double edged sword" 😂😂😂 practically nothing is such phenomena for IITans, it just to show off your humbleness by peddling such narrative by being in elite superior engineering institute
Intersting.Ajinkya has gained some extra pounds.
loved it

You know the guy means business when he's wearing chappel, in a room full of funded startup founders.

Yes
Irony:Zerodha founder is non-IITian.
School dropper h wo
Irony why
It is not about irony it is about a sense of mind. If the life of your family member is in danger during a war you have two choices either to trust a civilian or a soldier. Most people will trust a soldier. It does not gurantee that his/her life would be saved it is just that it comes as a natural thing similarly in case of money investment people shift towards IITians cause they might be more than a normal guy.
Imposter syndrome kmkb but God complex issue thanks bhai
THE DIFFERENCE: Confidence (IIT_Mrutyunjay) is silent, insecurities (Non-IIT_Vivekananda) are loud.

IIT’s have more or less are just popularised (and in my opinion overhyped) just by the tutoring/coaching industry!
Overglorification to a point can be a perfect word for that!
True that
Yeah just they are overhyped actual me har saal 13k student get selected in iit and only 10 people get 1cr package per annum

Would love to see some representation of what woman/girls graduating from IIT get into. The ratio of girls:boys in IITs is anyway pretty low so would love to see the future trajectories of girl pass outs from IIT!
Huh, they get 20% reservations, preferential hiring for diversity, special internship and placement drives. What else is required, it's already too much!
@@Prakodes-mu5on LOL so true, anyway its the way it is, we have to work harder :))
@@Prakodes-mu5on well, only seems fair compensation for the amount of disproportionate barriers girls have to face to even GET to IIT's in the first place (for example, lesser access to education, social support, pressure for marriage, barriers in STEM, etc.)

IISc has another charm than IITs .....!!!
What is IISc?
@@user-by4jk7ps2p Google it ! you'll know
It's a social complex that one's who don't get the better seem to downbar the ones that do... Appreciate both sides.. dnt HV to shit over iitians just cz u r jealous... Most of students who get in r ones who put in effort n needed way out of bad conditions.... It's not bcz of hype , it's bcz of need.. let that settle in
if you are bringing non iitians bring from tier 3 or lower collages they are some what equal to iits
IIT is good
but ok
doesn't matter if they're from iit or non iit ...99% population of india doesn't even know them!!and the companies they founded is not as great as they were thinking they supposed to be
Firstly, cracking JEE and going to IIT is no big deal. So, if you think that you are in IIT and now rest of the non - IIT students are behind you, then you have my sincere blessings kid.
Secondly, it is just an unequal division that is made at the age of 18 or 19, after which even if a normal college guy learns all to much and a IIT guy who knows just the basics, then also the IIT one will be get the advantage, just because of the so called trash IIT tag.
Third, I have some so called IIT friends, which are dumb, so dumb that sometimes i wonder what type of education system we live in.
Fourth, the society problem, in which the society thinks and believes that... Oh, he/she is from IIT, must be very talented and a good person.
Fifth, your hard times and hard work that a non - IIT guy do even after knowing much more than them, is a good thing. It will eventually develop you, your character, your personality, your charisma, which almost every student from IIT lacks. So, don't be afraid of that.
Sixth, Even if you start at a package of 3 LPA, trust me, many has, many will and many had reached the much higher level, even if they are not from IIT. It was just possible because of their skill set.
Seventh, After 2 - 3 years of job, everything will depend upon you, whether the IIT guys will work for you or vice - versa. So, don't be so hard on yourself if are not from so called IIT.
Eight, People are earning, and 90% of them are earning much more than the IIT ones, i have seen them, met them, many were worried during their initial phase, but they did it.
Ninth, don't believe in the hiring of big companies, always remember that, they hire just to get the work done. Everyone is same for them, thay just don't want to spend much time hiring from normal colleges and i sometimes even laugh at such decisions, but its their choice let it be.
One day, they will hire you also. It is just a matter of 2 - 3 or 4 - 5 years max.
tenth, don't get disheartened by the fact that you are not from IIT, but be so good that the companies and other people can't resist you. Become Unbeatable.
(I am only criticizing the inequality issue with IIT's and not the students studying there)
I think you couldn't get into iit that's why you're coming with this bs.... I gave jee this year, couldn't get into iit.... I know It hurts a lot
@@parthdeshwal4419 no thats not the point. You are very young you won't understand it right now. With time as you will proceed you will understand everything. Another advice for you : focus on job oriented skillset from now onwards. It will be beneficial for you.
And don't make iit a hype, maintain and try to create neutrality between every college. Than only you will be able to self respect your own efforts.
Good luck to you
@@parthdeshwal4419ll above is true
1.Being iitian or non iitian doesnt have much advantage when it comes to earning money
2.yes when you worked hard to crack iit exam but still couldnt make it suckz i know the feeling
But in long run your personal goal matters lot what you want to become
Just accept the fact you are not much smart and make plans accordingly
Not everybody is equal in world right?
Lastly learning and IQ is like compounding and so are rests keep working
It is a big deal! Period!
That's the 2nd dumbest thing ive seen here.... There r lots more advantages than just few placements ..... You are going to not even point to fact that if we leave noncore IT sector... Wat abt those who are interested in mech or elec or some other branches from within... Here IIT makes a huge positive for such students... Just writing watevr you feel doesn't make it right.
