This video is awesome!!! Infact, very interesting!!! As an American myself, I have to say, 10" Bells are way better than the modern style fire alarms, I wish we still have bells in all buildings where I live in America. I have some 10" bells in my collection as well. 2 of them are Autocall bells, I never thought of a fire alarm system in a car until today, around the same time I saw this, I was thinking maybe we should install a fire alarm system in a train or a semi truck. I also subscribed to your channel. Happy Thanksgiving!!! Take care and best wishes!!
Great video. This made my day! I've got some ideas for improving this system. - Annunciator - Radio shutdown when the system triggers - Voice evacuation using the car's speakers - Fire suppression system Although a fire alarm system in a car is not realistic, it would totally make sense on buses, coaches and trucks as they are large vehicles and there may be people sleeping.

Now if you want to enhance that setup, get 2 GSM module's, and have one located back at your house. One should send a message to the other module when either the house alarm or shed alarm goes off, putting the car fire alarm into supervisory. It's a good idea if you think about it.
I presume this is going to be a new appearance in the monthly test videos. And speaking of the monthly test videos I suggest verifying the pressure of all your fire extinguishers. You do have extinguishers in appropriate locations around your house, garage, and car, right?
I remember (IIRC) I was at a school bus, there was a EST Genesis horn strobe installed inside the school bus and it was next to the stop and check button.
they probably had that horn strobe wired to the buzzer circuit on the bus so that thing would activate and remind the driver to push the button. Never heard of that before, but that’s a pretty damn good idea lol
next is a mobile fire sprinkler system. just slap a water pump in there, rig up some piping, get a water tank, stuff it in the back some where, and you're good to go!

You Would want to get a Outdoor Horn with a Blue Strobe so people & Firefighters know that your car is on Fire and the horn sound to alert people to Step away From the Vehicle. Also the same with the house system
This is more of a question can it be done, well it is. but WHY in the smallest thing you own. Are you also going to install a Squib Fire Extinguisher in the engine as well?
Greeting from the U.S. Hi Nic got a question for you : we can bet if I cant do my own electricity because I am not an electrician if I were to find some kind of fire alarm that might be diy or a commericail we can be your advice to me in service contract should state that the system should be installed according to local code for residential installation does that sound right? thoughts please thank you as for example if I tried to imitate the system you put in your home my service agreement should state they follow local code for residential installlation is that correct ? thank you
You need an annunciator on the drivers door of the car inside, so if it catches on fire & the fire department responds, they can see what device activated.
I know theres gonna be that one passenger who keeps pulling it for no reason. It would also be funny if you actually got monitoring for the car fire alarm system.

false alarm is better than no alarm
Excuse to make a video
Hey, when a fire starts in there at least he’ll have early warning. Now if only there was some wireless method of monitoring it.
Imagine driving down a highway and you decide to smoke and there is a simplex horn blaring in your ear lol
uhhh look at his second most recent video
this one made me chuckle
Need to make sure that you know there’s a fire.
😂😂
I would use a chime speaker or a device with a chime tone instead of a mechanical horn or bell.
Some people take these videos way too seriously. They are supposed to be educational, fun and scientific

I know right. There's a reason why cars don't come shipped with fire alarms.

Question one why do you put the parking break on when you put it into park Unless you are on a steep hill. Maybe yeah I assume.
Less stress on the transmission as the parking pawl won't have all that force on it
