0:00 - 4:07 I traveled this route frequently driving from Vancouver WA to WSU in Pullman. Wasn't a fan of taking 395 through Kennewick, but despite all the signal lights it was still shorter than picking up I-182 in Richland.
6:15 That was one heat wave I wanna forget. It got up to 116° here in Vancouver, which blew past the old record by 8°. _Never_ seen it that hot up here and I hope to never repeat it. I've spent cooler days in Palm Springs in August for godsake.
A couple of years ago, we got to 118 (tied for the hottest temperature ever recorded in Washington State history; the record was initially set at Ice Harbor Dam, just east of the Tri-Cities, in 1961). I live in Kennewick. Hanford got to 120, setting the new State record for hottest temperature.
Back in March I was on a business trip in the Tri Cities. Pasco is a nice city with some really great restaurants. I highly recommend Porter's BBQ. They have the best brisket I've ever had. I love this part of Washington.
@@InterstateKyle Having driven 395 from CA 14 to Bridgeport, I can say that it's a very pleasant drive-and will be better once the Olancha bypass is finished.
The 2019 season is the biggest season to date, with 55 episodes. We're already at 92 episodes so far in this season. How big will the 2022 season get? Let's hope that there will be over 100 episodes!
Traveling through the Tri-Cities can be a frustrating and baffling experience for newcomers. This is especially true if you're following US 395 because it's so easy to get accidentally diverted elsewhere. The Lewis Street exit is especially deceiving for northbound motorists just coming off the Blue Bridge because if you're not paying close attention, you'll end up in beautiful downtown Pasco whether you want to or not.

Looks like global warming

Love your previous video you did driving thought the Tri-Cities a few years back. So it's nice to see you returned for another tour of the area.
Thank you so much!

I spent 14 years driving a big rig and made many trips to the Tri Cities area to pick up and drop off loads. Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for watching!
It's great to have you back in my home state, Kyle, and I love your videos.
Greetings from Aberdeen, WA
The climate in this part of Washington is way different than where you live!
@@InterstateKyle It sure is, sir! I have a cousin in Walla Walla which has a similar climate to the Tri-Cities. 🙂
I remember that 2021 heatwave too well as Portland hit 116. British Columbia was well above 120 degrees. hundreds died from that week long heatwave
Me too. It was absolutely miserable. We got to 118 here in Kennewick. Nearby Hanford got to 120.
Nice one. Now, Kyle, what is it with you and 395? CA and now WA...
US-395 is a way better drive in California than Washington I’ll say that much! Thanks for tuning in!

Why is everybody speeding?
It's how we drive around here....😂😂😂😂
Hi Kyle, when you use your camcorder. Do you mount it on the windshield or do you leave it on the dashboard?
So we go from July 2021 back to June 2021 and skip Spokane Washington
Do the dates honestly really matter that much?
@@InterstateKyle sometimes scenery is different each month
Fort Wayne, IN has a larger metro area population but a vastly inferior roadway system.
Stay in Richlands if you can..... Kennewick is going down the tubes and Pasco went down years ago.
