This video popped up in my feed around the exact time I start to really miss the eastern sierras. I have been visiting Silver Lake Resort for almost 30 years now for the Eastern Sierra Trout Opener every April/May. Make sure ya’ll stop into the Silver Lake Resort Cafe for breakfast(The Garbage omelette and bisquits & gravy) or have a Silver Lake Burger with an extra patty and add bacon and avocado and fries for lunch and remember not to forget to tell them The Heath Boys sent ya ! Great video.
Thanks Kyle for the video, been to the June Lake loop many many times growing up. Gull Lake was my favorite and then Silver Lake but have stayed at June several times. My Step-Dad almost bought the Gull Lake store and marina but pulled out at the last minute when his business partner unexpectedly passed away. I also used to run up to Lakes Agnew and Gem on a trail just off of the Silver Lake pack station to get up above ten thousand feet to get ready for Basketball season all through High School. We ate at the Carson Peak Inn several times and also the Tiger Bar for hamburgers. So may great memories'!!
Beautiful drive. When I still lived in L.A. I drove this road a few times on my long weekend 395 trips. But unfortunately is been 30 years since I was out there last. There seems to be a few more buildings and places to stop than I remember but other than that it hasn't changed much. Thanks for "ride" Kyle.

I don't recall you driving this in your original series on US 395. Very nice scenery indeed.
