No this is not true..... extraction leads to facial deformity at initial stage of treatment my orthodontist remove my one teeth which now create asymmetrical face, now 3 years of braces completed and when I asked my orthodontist for this asymmetrical face then she said it is because of extraction....very nicely she try to convince my by saying that thoda fark padta h but believe me ye thoda fark nahi h..... Now I watched many videos on mewing where I came to know that braces are only for alignment without removing any tooth and if there is no space then instead of extraction space should be crated by expanding the jaws.

@@lifecaptured8666 extraction of 4 premolar than adjusting jaw size with remaining teeth will leads to movement in jaw and similarly use expander will expand the jaw and fit all your tooth without removing any of it. But in both the cases there will be movement of jaw which ultimately bring changes on your face as well, therefore you have to decide what to do according to size of your face in case of extraction your face will become little narrow due reduce in the size of jaw and in case of expansion of jaw your face will become little wide. In my case I have a slim long face so in my case 4 premolar extraction can not be suitable as it will make my face more narrow. As result of which my dentist instead of using expander she extracted only one premolar i.e. below right which leads to shift my jaw inside one side more than other due to which face become little asymmetrical.
@@skskskkdkddkdj this doesn’t even make any sense. If the jaw is too small and you extract teeth, when the braces are used to close the gaps, the jaw will become even smaller.
@@skskskkdkddkdj i am 22 fromkashmir india my upper wisdom teeth on right side was little crooked towards my cheek it was feeling little uncomfortable for me i went to dentist he told me it is better to remove as it can cause problem in future i believe i went for extraction after 1 year my right side of face sunken it looks flat and asymmetrical . it ruin my look now i am regretting...so my suggestion is don't go for extraction untill it causes pain.

I got 4 premolar extraction done to reduce proclination/ flared front teeth. The result after two fucking years: no drastic or noticable change in the proclination. how does my profile look? bad comparitively, i look aged, my nose shape isnt complementing the new look, narrow face, narrow smile, had a good chin it looks recessed and aged!! i asked my doctor if these changes would happen before treatment, he said no! now after two years he is convincing me that you have lost weight, but my weight is the same, i actually weigh 2 kgs more now. Iam from mangalore, Dr rohan mascarenhas hampankatta was very dishonest. I highly recomend you guys dont undergo extraction treatment.

Hope you haven't already, But please Don't get any of your Bicuspid/Premolar teeth Extracted for Braces, it's not worth it at all. Also removing 2 upper Premolars, then Retracting the upper teeth, can cause the lower jaw to be Mispositioned, causing Jaw Joint and facial muscle strain, aswell as various other issues, it absolutely sucks.... It might be best for you to just do nothing, or seek Non-Extraction Options,

But the lower molars were correct and were still removed.
