Explain what this class action lawsuit is about and why there is one in the first place these people looking to you to be honest and trust you in saying this company is honest and cares about it's drivers if you really care about helping drivers give them both sides so they can make an educated decision

Thank you for sharing your experience with Super Ego. It's unfortunate to hear that the program may not be suitable for everyone. It appears that many of the participants or future drivers are inexperienced OTR drivers who may have difficulty getting hired elsewhere. It's concerning to hear about the challenges faced by some of the drivers, such as being fired for speeding and having no place to live, or having difficulty finding a job due to their employment history. It's also disappointing to hear about your own experience with Super Ego. It seems that the program may not have provided adequate support or training. The teacher you encountered did not emphasize the importance of the job and seemed more focused on numbers rather than ethics and accuracy in trucking. Additionally, the financial aspect of the program, such as the charges for various services and the high payments for old trucks, may not be feasible for someone looking to start a business legitimately with great credit and an excellent history over 19 years. If you feel strongly about your experience, writing a letter to Phil and Stacey, the individuals you mentioned, could be a way to express your concerns and provide feedback. It's important for programs like Super Ego to be aware of the issues faced by participants and make improvements to better serve their needs.
Thank you for video. I will be in orientation May 21st. I have my own authority was an owner operator for a while but when the recession hit i went to company driver. I hate it can't wait to go back to being self employed. Ive done my research on this company. It has its good and bad just like any other company. I know how much it takes to run a truck.. im very excited to grow my business with Ego.
If the 99.9% of the reviews on super ego is t enough, you’ll soon understand. It comes down to one of two choices with these people… either take diet cheap loads that will have you running on the negative or sit. Neither is making you money. Didn’t take long for me to figure it out. They’ll chop 25-30% of the load from the broker right off the top then offer it to you the one with all the financial responsibility, all the legal liability, and the one doing 100% of the work, for dirt cheap. Then take another 12% from that. You’ll run on the red constantly, going broke every single day, turn down loads, or sit. Just listen and see and read every single review about them. There’s a reason you can’t find one single, not even paid, video about someone who’s completed a lease with them. Look, there a reason this guy isn’t cooking in the hammer lane anymore.
Look, now you are entitled to your opinion as long as you leave me out of it. So if there isn’t any one that paid it off put your money we’re your mouth is? You asked the reason why I took a potentially 30-40% pay cut this year to do what I’m doing, well you are a prime example of the reason why, people just don’t got it and want something for nothing, just because they put zero down doesn’t mean zero investment. But hopefully I can get at least 15-20% to pay attention and I’m a success at my efforts, but no matter what I do majorly won’t get it because they are not truly listening.
So I just haven’t taken the Ego school of economics course? Me with my Accounting degree and business background of more than a decade just hasn’t figured out how to run a business with loads paying less than a drivers cost per mile?
@@tiresmoke2867 well actually you don’t understand how logistics work, there are many loads on the spot market way lower than your cost per mile. It all depends on load density and how you move the truck. In 2 1/2 years I NEVER moved a load under my cost per mile because I NEVER operated that truck in regions that where lower. And if the load was too low, I always had enough funds to pay for fuel to get me to a better paying area.
@@cookinginthehammerlane lol ok. So like I said, you’ll either run cheap ass freight, turn down loads, or sit. I ran mostly WI. Upper Midwest n days I’m seeing hundreds of $3 plus loads on DAT and still nothing but cheap freight. Thanks for proving my point.
I would’ve stop driving too if I wasn’t making money I understand you loved super ego in the beginning and it was getting to a point in your career it want making sense…. And in a last effort to make it make sense for you and your family you did what you had to do to make it make sense but as a man from one man to another the blind can’t lead the blind unless they both fall in the ditch…. Don’t lead your people astray you know it’s almost impossible to make it work and at this point you’ll make more money as a company driver that being an owner Opp and that’s the honest to gods truth and anybody reading this I hope this don’t fall on deaf ears I’m watching major companies merge together and companies who own 100 trucks plus fail in 2023 make this make sense for you and the people who depend on you right now…. On the other hand you better be careful in the transparency because you could get sued personally right along with super ego for misleading information or worse someone trust you and your word as a man and lose everything they have trusting the process and ends up killing him self or you because he feels your word is more valuable than a foreigner someone might hold you accountable for there choice based off your results you had when you first started almost 3 years ago when the market was hot… but for one how can you make it when they clearing 40% of every load anyways so tell the people what’s really going on
Spot on. After one week driving under them I can tell you there isn’t a single chance of anyone making it here. They chop 25-30% of the load right off the top and then offer it to a driver for dirt cheap and then take another 12% off that. Your first week you’ll start off in the hole and you’ll never recover from that. You will literally be working for free.
This is great I've heard good and bad things about superego but I think it's a great idea what you're trying to accomplish... especially with oncoming drivers because I've heard numerous of bad stories about the orientation process
Well, that is the first time I’ve heard that. I’ve received on many occasions quite the opposite. But, I value your opinion and the best of wishes. And I actually don’t enjoy to “Hear” myself speak, but my enjoyment comes from those who actually succeed.
look like u woke up seen a floyd super ego truck next to you and like yeah im make this video real quick 🤣 but congrats and thank you for being transparent with what your going thru
So when can we expect to see these awesome ideas in practice? A lot of us are struggling out here and there doesn’t seem to be any help. I went through orientation on December 29, 2023 and I didn’t see any of this, maybe because it was the weekend. I would like to sit in on any class or anything that you have that could be helpful.
My name is ELAMIN MUHAMMAD ALI MOORE I started 11/05/2022 was my first load and to 02/28/2023 I made on my 1099 $69,510 I didn't I get paid right and I had apartment and car payment right so four months right .so where my money and I lost my apartment... I was doing lease purchase so you tell me something and iam single male with no kids well have great one
Bro, the only problem with them is the money they take and you having to pay for repairs on a brand new truck. The numbers don’t work that’s the only problem.
They got a special design section of super ego to repossession, saying they know most people gonna fail. So if you do go, ask who's the head of repossessions.ask for OG! Or Peter!
Man I thought you looked familiar.😅 I met you through the "program" when you worked with Pat and Mike. I believe you took Over for Stephen Goldon over at Cleveland during my graduation. I would love to talk to you bro.
For the record i have nothing agaist super ego or ever had any dealings but my issues is only to this video now would i give super ego a try maybe but if that was to happen i would be very careful of any advice coming from you on a microscopic level nothing personal its just the characteristics being rolled out for me
How can you fix there business model of skimming off the tip and re-writing rate cons given to the dispatch by the broker? How are are you going to fix the drivers inability to pick there on loads? There are too many things wrong with this company to fix, that’s why they have so many name changes under super ego.. Man you shouldn’t be selling out for the bag like this by convincing drivers to come there, preying on there dreams to be a Owner-Op. And lastly, How are you going to fix there class action lawsuit that’s going on right now?
@Trucker Da. Facts it seems like he is the only one making money at that place. If they are stealing money how can you be successful. They steal from the rate con. They offering 700 miles for 900$. This is the worst company to ever exist in American history. I’m doing way better since I left that place I Almost go bankrupt.
I’m going to explain this the best way I can. First of all, I have met numerous people that have PAID off their truck with this business model. I have PERSONALLY made it off this business model for 2 1/2 years as I have also been in contact with drivers that have been here years before me. It works for me and it works for them. So there is no doubt it works. Secondly, let me break something down for you! Sir, why do we believe we are so “entitled” when we have yet to work for the reward? Do me a favor, the next time you go to the supermarket and buy eggs, ask the retailer why they are skimming of the top of those 2.00 eggs that you are paying 7.00 for. Ask them to give it to you at the price they got from the wholesaler!!! You want to set the price when in fact you have “No” product to offer. You want to complain about a system in which you do not have a solution, and if you did we wouldn’t be having this discussion (or text). Selling out for the bag…….. actually I took a slight pay cut to follow my passion and that is to help others. You are looking on the surface and not looking on the sacrifice and the change that is taking place. My life has purpose, and I don’t worry about the money because I know if my heart is true and aligned to help, I’m good. Lastly, you pointed at the alleged litigation, it is not your right to past judgment on others, unless you be judged as such. I teach and give tools to help others work within a system they didn’t create to get the best possible outcome. And that is. 1) To own the truck if that is what they desire. 2) To make enough to sustain their lifestyle and business until the latter is fulfilled. Be “WE” are changing sir, for the better with or without your approval. Have a blessed day and career.
@@Smithftrans876 i actually don’t think you understand the spot market. But stay tuned il CONTINUE to break it down for you. Now, I’m probably one of the few that do publicly show my success, but my job as the Director is to show more that have in which it is an abundance.Sir, let me explain something to you. This fleet is approximately 4000 strong, the yard only holds maybe a few hundred. WHERE are the other trucks if no one else is winning!! Trust me they are winning they just are minding their own business, but I’m going to show more of successful drivers now that I have the time to do so. But, like I said this isn’t for everyone but it’s is awesome for some. Blessings.
@@Smithftrans876 and please make it make sense. How is this the worst company in American history, when it’s the fastest growing In Illinois. I can already contemplate your rebuttal, but I assure you if you change you mindset maybe it could change you outcome!
@@cookinginthehammerlane Bro your the only one seems to be making it at this company. Yes I understand spot market. What I’m an say if they are taking money off the rate then turn around and take 12 percent how does that work. This is the problem that drives have.
This is big news. I’ve had my cdl for 6 months with the goal in mind to get my business off the ground. Been in contact with super ego because of your videos and the success you’ve posted in your videos. With you upstairs, I’m gonna pull the trigger and join the squad.
what about your company that they don't pay they drivers cause they leave. why you stop driving to work in a office why does the company have class act lawsuit for not paying the drivers what they drive what they supposed to be payee
What about Wally World/WAL*MART? Wal*Mart is great if you hit the CENTERPOINTS; CENTERPOINTS ARE where you drop and hook, hook to another load just like the Walmart drivers do. Not drop a load and hook to an Empty. All DC’s are not Centerpoints, So ask when a Carrier tells you they drop and hook at Walmart, Walmart requires Carriers to have 8 dropped trailers at Centerpoint locations, Centerpoints are great, otherwise it’s a waste of valuable time doing Walmart loads.
Congratulations my guy! I’ve been pondering about making this move. I just got a text from Ivy my recruiter today asking if I was still interested and you just encouraged me to try this out. I will definitely need your guidance brother! Keep up the good work
😂 they took my associate truck after he fixed it and tried to give him truck abandonment on his CDL. He has proven he’s not at fault and they still took his truck.
Very cool, very good ideas!! That place is very scattered when you do orientation, very unorganized.. It’s a very good company. Also need to fix the bad people doing the bad reviews on UA-cam and get them on brainwashed you’ll have more people in that position work and the truck. I left a month ago because of the money was up and down. Not consistent. I did 34 to 4100 miles a week for dispatchers are used. It was a very good company to work for very good people. I’m glad you’re sticking with the company and not leaving because there’s only a few of you guys on UA-cam doing what you do sticking up for super ego Thank you again for what you do. Keep up the good work on videos. 😬
@@AngelicStorm why not? Explain pls .... Because how I see it is this: with two drivers, the truck never stops. It can pick up and drop off freight literally anywhere, day and night. Plus the team can do double the miles, which equals more money, which equals faster truck payoff. Am I missing something here?
Because if u work with super ego they fix the eld logs n run illegal so long story short if u work solo with super ego u damn near a team just by yourself because u can do so many miles by calling them to reset your clock
The loan is 5 years. The average OTR truck lasts 500k miles. If a driver does 10k miles a month, the truck will have 600k miles at the end of the loan period.
Isn’t 3 weeks but months after months of headaches and no making money . Yeah of course the company will make their money but not the ones who are behind the wheel.
Man they are crooked i was there for 1yr and they stole from me why i was out for doctor appointment and eye surgery a d i was not even behind on my bal sheet and even just paid for $5k in truck maintenance out of pocket
I been here at super ego for 6moths ain’t no way in hell I’m posed to be getting treated like I am. Imma very hard working employee someone to reach out to me
Driver Research should be who are you WILLING TO DO BUSINESS WITH, company drivers too. Why drive for a company that has a CRAPPY FREIGHT BASE AND THE SHIPPERS AND RECEIVERS SUCK, LIKE, Anheuser-Busch, Best Buy, COLGATE/PALMOLIVE, C&S Logistics, PEPSICO, P&G Proctor & Gamble, etc, etc, forget what Recruiters say, I don’t wanna hear about a penny raise and BULLSHTTE SIGN ON BONUSES, tell me about the freight you haul. And take these UA-camrs with a grain of salt, ESPECIALLY the ones that start with; Hit the like button and Subscribe, I click away immediately with a thumbs down 👎 because the video would sell itself if it were any good, and you would automatically hit the the like 👍. Again; THE SHIPPERS AND RECEIVERS RUN TRUCKING, NOT THE CARRIERS YOU DRIVE FOR. BOTTOMLINE, be careful who you drive for. ALL CARRIERS JUMP THROUGH HOOPS FOR THE SHIPPERS AND RECEIVERS.
The title of video says why you aren't driving for Super ego. But it sounds like you are still driving for Super ego. Just a little confused between name of video and video content. Anyway are you still with Super ego?
stay away from the Volvo mafia is how! Go to a REPUTABLE company who has actual customers and if you can get with a company that uses load boards even better! My husband was Strong Solo Sergey for these jokers and they still shit on him. He left and went back to his starter company as an owner op and made money! But do your research pay attention to the reviews, look at the names if they have the foreign names or the John Smith or famous name at Super Ego is Jphn Wolf saying the company is outstanding, they FAKE!
What pisses me off the most about these UA-cam videos 😡, you guys never talk about the most important thing; THE SHIPPERS AND RECEIVERS AND THE PISS ANT BROKERS, I don’t wanna hear about any other garbage because it doesn’t matter until you know who you’re going to be doing business with. MY FIRST QUESTION 🙋♂️ WHETHER A COMPANY DRIVER OR LEASE DRIVER IS; WHATS YOUR FREIGHT BASE, WHO DO YOU HAUL FOR, what’s the drop and hook %, are they 24hrs with overnight truck parking, do they work WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS, the Shippers and Receivers will make or Break you, I understand Brokers work 9-5 and no weekend’s? WTF IS THAT ABOUT? No wonder you guys all fail, the SHIPPERS AND RECEIVERS RUN THE SHOW, NOT THE COMPANY YOU DRIVE FOR; THEY ALL CATER TO THE SHIPPERS AND RECEIVERS AND BROKERS,, WHICH THEY CALL CUSTOMERS.
Congratulations
Thanks

They show you how to learn, how the company will put it in you and Break it off in side you.
I'll be looking for you.
This is great I've heard good and bad things about superego but I think it's a great idea what you're trying to accomplish... especially with oncoming drivers because I've heard numerous of bad stories about the orientation process
Believe all the bad reviews trust me
He is the worst part of Orientation..just someone that loves to here himself speak.
Well, that is the first time I’ve heard that. I’ve received on many occasions quite the opposite. But, I value your opinion and the best of wishes.
And I actually don’t enjoy to “Hear” myself speak, but my enjoyment comes from those who actually succeed.
Congratulations 🎉👏🏻
That's great news congrats!
I just applied and I should be starting in 2-3 weeks would like to shake your hand when I arrive man your vids encouraged me to join
Make sure you track out to me!
🎉🎉🎉 Congratulations bro !
Yeah, I'm with those comments about the truck-
Did you get the title to your truck and can you show the followers proof?
Where's the truck now? 🤔
Proof of what?
Your goals and my goals are two different things.
@@cookinginthehammerlane where's your title, show it is you have one.
look like u woke up seen a floyd super ego truck next to you and like yeah im make this video real quick 🤣 but congrats and thank you for being transparent with what your going thru
Good job man!
CONGRATULATIONS
So when can we expect to see these awesome ideas in practice? A lot of us are struggling out here and there doesn’t seem to be any help. I went through orientation on December 29, 2023 and I didn’t see any of this, maybe because it was the weekend. I would like to sit in on any class or anything that you have that could be helpful.
I am not making any money trying to hope the problem get fixed
Congrats! Makes me more excited to start with them.
Did you start with them?
My name is ELAMIN MUHAMMAD ALI MOORE I started 11/05/2022 was my first load and to 02/28/2023 I made on my 1099 $69,510 I didn't I get paid right and I had apartment and car payment right so four months right .so where my money and I lost my apartment... I was doing lease purchase so you tell me something and iam single male with no kids well have great one
Nice!!🎉 big moves. So you live in Chicago?
Congratulations! I will be be heading over there end of April beginning of May
I would like to know more about the company if there is anyway to talk
Bro, the only problem with them is the money they take and you having to pay for repairs on a brand new truck. The numbers don’t work that’s the only problem.
They got a special design section of super ego to repossession, saying they know most people gonna fail. So if you do go, ask who's the head of repossessions.ask for OG! Or Peter!
Hey sir I’m gonna start next Thursday I want know what to expect in the orientation and OTR leases owner op
Heard way more bad reviews than positive.....I can't make that move
Congrates
Man I thought you looked familiar.😅 I met you through the "program" when you worked with Pat and Mike. I believe you took Over for Stephen Goldon over at Cleveland during my graduation. I would love to talk to you bro.
I got a question be for i come very important
I met you at the trailer yard a few months ago I need to ask you a quick question
We talked today right?
Congratulations 🎊 👏 is always great to have drivers move up onto management
Appreciate it💯
Congratulations for you but Super Ego is a joke you should get out they are scammers
For the record i have nothing agaist super ego or ever had any dealings but my issues is only to this video now would i give super ego a try maybe but if that was to happen i would be very careful of any advice coming from you on a microscopic level nothing personal its just the characteristics being rolled out for me
This company needs to have contract loads and not spot market loads and, they double brokerage the loads
How is Alfredo Manning the director of driver relations and they tell you in orientation that you don’t have to see Alfredo
If I decide to attempt to super ego I would like to talk to you
How is this possible when you are putting most of your money in fuel?
How long is the orientation
You politic’d well fr
Did you keep your trucks?
This is big news. I’ve had my cdl for 6 months with the goal in mind to get my business off the ground. Been in contact with super ego because of your videos and the success you’ve posted in your videos. With you upstairs, I’m gonna pull the trigger and join the squad.
Yea bro i left back in August.
You are ??
Why lot of people not happy ego..
May be you get money
From ego..
Thats whats up ive been there 6months and had to get out out there...i started flatbed now so if u guys get some trailers with equipment let me know
what about your company that they don't pay they drivers cause they leave. why you stop driving to work in a office why does the company have class act lawsuit for not paying the drivers what they drive what they supposed to be payee
Where do I sign up??
What about Wally World/WAL*MART? Wal*Mart is great if you hit the CENTERPOINTS; CENTERPOINTS ARE where you drop and hook, hook to another load just like the Walmart drivers do. Not drop a load and hook to an Empty. All DC’s are not Centerpoints, So ask when a Carrier tells you they drop and hook at Walmart, Walmart requires Carriers to have 8 dropped trailers at Centerpoint locations, Centerpoints are great, otherwise it’s a waste of valuable time doing Walmart loads.
Hey man you have zero information about the company or reasons why you stopped driving
He's saying he's taking an administrative position with the company
I'm coming to start next weekend need your guidance please
Low rates super low. Holla at me when you can
Congratulations my guy! I’ve been pondering about making this move. I just got a text from Ivy my recruiter today asking if I was still interested and you just encouraged me to try this out. I will definitely need your guidance brother! Keep up the good work
How has your first month been?
😂 they took my associate truck after he fixed it and tried to give him truck abandonment on his CDL. He has proven he’s not at fault and they still took his truck.
@@RobertChambers101 oh?!! And no comment from “cookin in the Super Ego lunchroom”?
What a bout people interested in coming, I would like to see the process from dispatch received to payment
Did you own your truck before you left?
How can I contact you personally
Need a good company right now
How do I get ahold of you. Bout to head over
my number is in my page description
Any way to get a hold of u before we come
my number is on the page description
Ok thinks
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉. I’m still looking at coming to Super Ego.
When you come I will do everything in my ability to make sure your experience is aligned with your goals!
I’m glad you’re sticking with the company and not leaving because there’s only a few of you guys on UA-cam doing what you do sticking up for super ego
Thank you again for what you do. Keep up the good work on videos.
😬
Major move
Congratulations! That’s awesome!
Thank you.
And even ask for my payoff of truck and was lied to about that also
What I want to know is this: if a team where to run the truck, would it be easier to pay off the truck?
Nope😂
@@AngelicStorm why not? Explain pls
You’re hurting people by being dishonest!
And Howwwww am I being dishonest? When did I lie to you sir?
@@cookinginthehammerlane You know what this company is about! Selling them is not being honest and truthful! As you, I have 1st hand experience.
The loan is 5 years. The average OTR truck lasts 500k miles. If a driver does 10k miles a month, the truck will have 600k miles at the end of the loan period.
Your information is way off...
I drove a Volvo today with 980k. It's all about the maintenance.
I know an owner operator who ran a truck all the way up to 3 million miles.
question will they work out something on down payment on a
new truck?
u mean to lie and recruit at tha same time😂😂 ok buddy
Bate and switch bro😮
How do I get in contact with you to further discuss success?
Isn’t 3 weeks but months after months of headaches and no making money . Yeah of course the company will make their money but not the ones who are behind the wheel.
He do sound shady i wouldn't trust him
Man they are crooked i was there for 1yr and they stole from me why i was out for doctor appointment and eye surgery a d i was not even behind on my bal sheet and even just paid for $5k in truck maintenance out of pocket
I been here at super ego for 6moths ain’t no way in hell I’m posed to be getting treated like I am. Imma very hard working employee someone to reach out to me
Contact me
Driver Research should be who are you WILLING TO DO BUSINESS WITH, company drivers too.
Do you have an email or a way for me to reach out to you?
The title of video says why you aren't driving for Super ego. But it sounds like you are still driving for Super ego.
Just a little confused between name of video and video content.
Anyway are you still with Super ego?
I’m not driving for them, but Yes
How to make money with this market
stay away from the Volvo mafia is how!
That’s great news, man. I’m about to come up to SE. Ready to get this started soon.
