Beauty & the Lip Junkie Sabrina botelho don’t be nervous!! Just practice beforehand and you’ll be golden :) Would you find a video helpful on how I handled going back to work and pumping? I have so many things that helped me and happy to share with other mamas! I know alllll the emotions too well
How was it using it returning to work? I’m in healthcare working 12 hours shifts. I would pump anywhere from 25-32 oz with my daughter. Lots of my time even before returning to work was spent pumping. I’m wondering if I could get through a 12 shift with two sets (parts) that it comes with?
Would you say this can be the only pump used as an alternative to the Spectra?? Do you think it's necessary to have the Elvie AND the Spectra if portability isn't a factor?
Hi, loved your review. I'm planning to buy this pump for my wife and was wondering if in target you can return items that you used as she might not like it? Also does it leak milk and does it tell you when it's full? Many thanks.
I'm really excited about your review video! Really good quality and I've been watching a few of them developed by others I didn't find helpful. It's now been 4 months since you posted this one week review. How is it going? Do you still recommend this? Have you been using it for the past few months or was this just "new toy" excitement. I haven't been able to find many follow-up reviews past the first week of use. I'm asking because I work at a prison. I had the spectra and used Freemie cups for my first child but honestly the tubing still was a challenge (My office has windows with inmates and staff walking the halls looking in) and I watched my supply drop over time and stopped sooner than I'd have liked due to the obvious challenges (my supply was fine when pumping/feeding at home). I'm really hoping this could be the solution this time. It's just so expensive. I want to be sure it'll probably be worth it. Also, for obvious reasons I can't have my cellphone with me. Do you think I'll be able to use them fine with out the app (I know you mention that in your video, but hoping for an update)? I'm trying to figure out if I could get the app to work on my laptop but the company doesn't seem to have much tech support on their website. Sorry to write so much, but you seem responsive to other comments and I'm just really anxious for a solution to my challenging situation.
Jill Raymond hi there! Funny enough I was just thinking about how I needed to do a follow up to this video since so many people found it helpful! Short answer: Yes I still love my elvie!! I went back to work full time, using it 3x per day now. I can easily use it without the app, or my phone, and do whatever I need from the pump itself. More often than not I don’t use the app. Cleanup is easy. I can now put my pump together in about 20 seconds! If I could say a pump was life changing, here it is! I always like to give the idea of my milk supply though when giving these reviews, to keep it fully honest! I have a really easy let down and I pump about 5-7oz each session. This was very similar to what I’d get with a spectra, for comparison. Hope this is helpful, and I will try to post a follow up detailed review soon :) Thanks for watching!
@@jillraymond2068 I am in a super similar situation! I was wondering how it worked out for you if you ever did buy the Elvie and was it worth it for you? I know this string was from ages ago!
Is not returnable at target if it’s open??? I tried to return mine and they didn’t take it. And if yes where can I find an statement that’s said us returnable after open?
Hi! Loved the review, I also have this pump, but I’m wondering if you have any tips/tricks on transferring milk from the elvie bottle to your kiinde bags Bc I was in the exact same situation with my old spectra s2 and used kiinde bags. Trying to avoid spilling a lot of milk as the elvie bottles don’t have a spout or easy way to transfer the milk for storage. TIA!
I HATED that aspect of my Willow. Also that they don’t have 28 mm flanges and have no plans in the future for them. Ended up giving my willow to a friend because I used it like twice and my nipples were HUGE after and got almost no milk out
veronica berger not at all! They say in the instructions that their parts are microwave sterilization safe :) I’ve probably put mine in there hundreds of times at this point and no change
I’m wondering if I should purchase the double or the single for the cost as I need to ship to Australia and it’s very expensive on top on the purchase and exchange rate. Also our baby is likely to be in NICU for a while so I also wonder if you could manage with one pump when your not able to feed one the other side?
Hey! Congrats on your new little one! Honestly I would go for the double if you think you will be pumping a lot. However, if you think your baby may nurse off one side, and you can pump on the other you could probably get away with one. I personally am back at work so I prefer to have the double as it takes me 15 minutes for both sides at once. It really all depends on if you will be pumping a lot, or just on occasion in my experience :) . Best of luck!
Thanks for this video! Where is your portable battery pack from? How many charges can you get out of it for your Elvie hubs before it needs to be charged too?
Leesa Pennell hey girl! Here’s the link: Here is the link! amzn.to/2YrFEUo I typically get 4 uses out of them before I need to charge, but I typically do it every other day :)
Omg I wish I would have seen this video before I ordered the willow lol!!! I would have loved an option to return since I’m a super under supplier and it may get worst and then I won’t even need the pump 😆😆 plus you can’t beat all the accessories 🥰🥰
@@justaujey3280 Target seems to have a policy that says you can return anything purchased from your registry within a year! So to my understanding, yes! Although honestly I am still SO in love with my Elvie!

I would love to see the update video since you have been back to work!
I have this pump and love it! Most insurance companies will upgrade the pump and you pay the difference. I received my pump through Aeroflow for $200
MsTrueJ if you don’t mind telling me what insurance you used through aeroflow? Thank you
That’s amazing!! So glad to see that insurance is starting to cover this pump :)
Christel Millery I used atena. If you email one of the consultants they will help you see if it’s covered.
Unfortunately my Cigna insurance doesn’t even allow for a copay upgrade 😪
This video is so helpful. Especially talking about the spectra vs the elvie. I’m so nervous about going back to work and pumping

Ongelique Bateman kiinde also sells a funnel for milk transfers

Great review but you don’t need your phone in order for willow to work. It works perfectly fine without the app
I was wondering about that since they do not have the Andriod app yet
Another thing that’s wierd about the willow is that it only comes with one charger yet Iv got two pumps 😅😅😅
Brittany Jade omg yes!!!! I filmed a portion talking about that but I think I edited out for time since the video is so long!! Haha
