My pump is running out of charge really fast. I’m so disappointed. It gets hot while pumping in my breast, and is slow pumping. And I’m having issues with the app. I don’t recommend this product. I regret I bought it.
The bottles look really small. I pump 6oz on my left and 8oz on my right side during a session. Seems like I would constantly have to check the bottle fullness and empty. Do they make larger bottles??
They're just over 4 ounces. I have OS too, but didn't have to change bottles out: the pump couldn't ever get more than 1.5 ounces total from me...when the Symphony or Willow would get 8+ in half the time :(
I can’t wait to get this! So much has changed in the last few years when it comes to pumping. Please please please give us the brand of your nursing bra, it looks sooo comfy!!
Very insightful. I’m debating if I should get the Elvir or Willow pump. I had the Medela which was amazing 2 years ago. I’d love to have a hands free option but I want to get as much output as possible. Will keep researching but this video was very helpful!!

If I'm just using the Elvie for vacations or going out, do you think getting the single pump (vs double) enough? I work at home and have a spectra s2. @babylist
Oooh good question. If this is solely your travel pump, depending on your supply, the single could work since it means less things to carry and you can just switch sides if need be. You might consider also packing a "milk catcher" for the side the Elvie isn't on, for example: ua-cam.com/video/SOE7Zur-TqA/v-deo.html
Jasmine Chen Which did you end up getting? I think the double would be more efficient because it would work at double the speed, compared to the single. Are you breast-feeding too? If you are exclusively pumping like me having the double makes daily life much easier because you could do your chores while still pumping and it’s such a timesaver! if you are also breast-feeding, the single might be sufficient for you.
Hi im relactating would this pump work, as im trying my best to pump 8 times a day but i just dont get time to sit down on an electric pump.. please can any one help
I don’t know how far you got on your relactaton journey, but I’m on my second round of relactating without breastfeeding. It’s not strong like a symphony, but from what I understand it feels like a freemie liberty.
Breastfeeding a baby is not just feeding it. Goes beyond, I do not agree with these inventions, only by aesthetics and appearance that only encourages dehumanization. Where would the mother contact son? The transfer of feelings?
My baby cannot latch to the breast so I use a pump. These are designed for mother's to give a baby their milk when the baby cannot be at the breast or the mother is away at work for example. Don't judge other mums.
Candice Dawkins agree I couldn’t breast feed directly because baby was in the nicu. I was able to breastfeed by pumping so not every mom and baby are the same. Please don’t judge
This is an incredibly ignorant and judgmental comment. First of all, not all mothers can breastfeed their babies for VARIOUS reasons that I do not feel I need to list-that’s common sense for any mother. Second, many women don’t have the luxury of being stay at home moms for as long as they want to keep giving breast milk. Even if baby latches when she gets home from work, what is she supposed to do while she’s gone? I work in health care and have 12+ hour shifts and cannot walk out on patients or leave the floor every few hours to go sit down and pump somewhere in private. These devices are lifesavers for moms who have demanding jobs but also what to pump while they’re away from home. Or even stay at home moms who may have multiple small children or just want more freedom when they need to get chores done without staying attached to a pump every few hours. If you have to pump for whatever reason, ever tried caring for another baby, standing up to grab something, or leaning over while wearing traditional pump flanges? Probably not. I’d guess that you’ve had perfect babies that have always latched for you, never had a NICU stay, and you have always been a stay at home mom for all of your children...otherwise you wouldn’t make such ignorant, silly comments.
Apriori Reification ahhh...that explains the sheer ignorance and lack of empathy for breastfeeding/pumping moms. Of course he doesn’t understand, he has zero experience in this area and therefore has no right to even make comments like that.
