In Homecoming, after winning the battle, she is fiercer, much more confident, a lot more dominant. Also thinking of the lyrics of this song; instead of a lover, she could be singing to life, the life that gave her a second opportunity and she would live it to the fullest. She wanna stay forever in that night, just Kylie and her life: the stage and her crowd. I feel that, and Im sure she feel that too singing this.
