I'm so glad your video popped up on my search. Brilliant workmanship. Stunning design. Too bad you can't patent the way you pivot the shelves up for hidden screws - very innovative! THANK YOU!
I respect you so much brother, at first look I almost underestimated, but now I see if you keep making videos like this and I keep watching I will become great like you , thank you 🙏 from Shawn in Long Island New York
you mean leaving the layers of the plywood showing, right? ...it's very typical to just leave it showing in Korea for built-in custom shelving. I must say, i was surprised the first time I saw it.
Everything made out of plywood and rough edges showing, that would never be accepted in Europe (or maybe anywhere else?). That door too, basically two big sheets of plywood on a frame with braces. Such a hollow door will let a lot of noise through I guess. Great workmanship, that has to be said. I got the impression this was installed in an office space. So then the functionality is way more important than the looks. Making this design from solid wood would make it way more expensive.

A friend of Mine built a Wall Bookcase. After many years it came to Me and I cut it down to fit My Wall. Years later I cut it down again to fit My Mother’s Wall. Years after that it was cut down again to fit in My Father’s Workshop. Eventually it received a Viking Funeral.

Hello people from Vitten, I`m from ARGENTINA, and only wanted to say that you really are profesionals, congratulations!!!! Me, I`m just learning with all the videos like this that I can see,I love whatching the techniques you use to build these amazing projects. Who could give this a thumbs down? Good grief, I'm watching it a second time...mad skills brother! I'm just starting to work with wood in my 50's and I'm inspired!
Good Work as always. But there is one thing very isteresting for me, wich it will help me to make project like this. It was the way you put the shelf board one by one and a half flip to put screwa to the other. It was briliant. Thank you so much..
Beautiful work and great ideas for the shelves. But . . . why did you leave the plywood edges exposed? I use either edge banding or cut strips from veneer for a modern look, and solid wood for a more traditional appearance. In any case, great job.
haven't you heard?? Leaving the striped pattern on plywood is all the rage these days. So modern. LOL. (joking aside, I actually do like the look. Not on every piece, but I also thinking using a veneer is almost like cheating. Get some solid wood, or show off that neat line pattern on your ply... because your piece is made of ply).
@@urwholefamilydied Have to agree with you. Its a nice build, but it screams out to have some thin strips of solid wood applied to the edges to cover the visible ply.. it would just finish it off
Hey another great work, congrats! Can you tell us what glue did you use to asemble it all in the final place? The white one; was it P.U.? Thank you for sharing, and once more congratulations
Beautiful work. Amazing. I will test this technique of placing the shelves. I will use wood with density = 1040 kilos per cubic meter (2292.80 Lb per m³)

That pivoting shelf idea to screw all of them in place is freaking brilliant man! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for your comment~!
Yeah! That was really brilliant! Thank you!
Great idea about the shelfs. I like
Omg! This is brilliant. Thank for showing how to do this technique of the toe screwing the last screw. Brilliant!!!!!!!

Wow the craftsmanship is exactly what sets you apart. I currently need this in several of my rooms in my house.

I can not believe you let uncover the edge’s plywood. To be a profesional carpenter you MUST do that extra job
Extra wood brings extra cost. I am sure the client was aware of the opportunity, but alas didn't want to add extra cost.
exactly~!
there's no MUST. in Korea, many people don't care the edge and some people like that. and budget... a professional carpenter must care the budget
Really enjoyed watching the build. I am sorry that you didn’t place a hidden door. Enjoyed so much.
