Great video! It is interesting to see that you find this model compares favourably with the best Fleischmann :) And I think this is the first time I've ever seen anyone try chain shunting in N gauge - amazing!
I bought my first Graham Farish rolling stock from a tiny model railway shop in Salisbury in the Summer of 1979: a dozen goods vans plus a pair of class 08 shunters, all of which still in pristine working order; the 08s have really heavy finely detailed die-cast bodywork giving the little buggers astonishing towing power. Nice, that this video brought G&F back on my radar; this handsome little steamer does look quite tempting. 😊
My lord what fine running.
