That’s the great thing about reptile. Literally none of his moves need to use bar unless you want armor, I just wish his back forward 2 was usable on airborne enemies like scorpions is
tbh i don’t think he’s all that good 😔 he hits hard but it’s so hard so open people up if ur going against someone that’s good bc of his low mixup options and he doesn’t have any moves that are plus on block
You tellin me that those two first hits are a Low and a Mid? When im playin against Reptile i figured it was a Low and an Overhead. Its so annoying how NRS still doesnt make Animations match what the moves actually are. There are a few more animations that Ive found thay dont make any sense for what the move actually is.
@@anthonyaquino123 I def don't think that's okay. The animations should fit the type of attack 100% of the time. But ya'know, shitty choreography and animation is a NRS speciality. Every fighter should have animations that make sense to where you can learn an opponent's kit and attack types by playing against them a few times, not having to go in practice mode and waste time trying to figure out bad animations that makes absolutely no sense.
I found the most optimal damage woth scorpion and reptile by doing some tech I told Illgenowski a few months ago and he agreed to post the tech and credit me (really good dude) check out that Illgenowski video dude tell me what you think

You don't actually need meter for this. Doing far force ball first and then normal force ball second will work as well.

ik but u build meter so fast in this game and i noticed that doing ex on the first force ball scales less and it gives u the most damage

am yet to play against a reptile in kl and i hit warrior nice to see some gameplay 1 bar 1 Kameo for 43% is pretty good low startup as well

I have no idea how to get the acid spit and the far Scorpion assist to combo together.
i did ex far force ball first and it’s a tight window for the acid spit to combo with the scorpion assist

that’s what i thought day one too but yea there’s a couple of characters like that it’s just match up knowledge that had to be learned and that’s ok
