Oh wow, that vintage dress is sooooo cute! I love the pieces you got for yourself too! I really love Umgee pieces too. You found so many good pieces. I rarely shop at the Goodwill stores around me, because they are all priced so much higher than the Salvation Army stores around me.
That is a bummer about not having a half-off tag. I wonder what they do with all their older inventory that doesn’t move. Do they just send it to the bins? Thanks for sharing your haul and talking about the differences in the Goodwills. It is always interesting to me. It will be fun to compare the two hauls!
Thank you for the detailed comparison! 👍🏻 I live in NC /Raleigh area/ and our Goodwills are the same or at least similar. Fix prices, no color tag sales, no half-off days, no loyalty points plus they randomly mark up some pieces. These stores don’t have athletic, short or swimwear section - so they pour the shorts, the athletic and the swim stuff into bins and also sell them for $1 or $2 / piece, for example I purchased a Travis Matthiews golf short for $1.8. So it is not bad afterall, sometimes I find great items in these bins. However with the fix priced stuff I do have to check comps to see if it is worth to pick up for $4.99. It is more work but I think it keeps me from hoarding 😂 The weirdest thing is that we are not allowed to touch/check the new racks until the employee put the new items/hangers down to the racks. So I usually have to follow the employee on a bit creepy way if i see something I want to grab right away 😅 I think the prices are still lower than in other states and this model has advantages, but I definetelty get a bit jealous when other resellers on YT pull wonderful things from the new racks. Or they can just do the cherry picking method instead of going through the whole store.
i'm glad it was helpful!! that's right- i thrifted in wake forest a couple of years ago and remember that about the bins in the goodwills!! i got some good stuff but had never seen that before. very interesting about the new racks!! you'd think they would be happy that you're creating less work by taking pieces before they're sorted haha!

That umgee dress is adorable! I love the brand but it just doesn't move for me unless it's a kimono.
i have noticed it's moving a lot slower for me now!! i'm def going to be pickier from now on
Very cool!
thank you!! :D
