I’m not a heat person either. I’m more a fall/winter person. That’s actually when I take my vacations 😂😂😂. Both blushes are pretty. I’m in love with the deeper shade . Thanks for the review. I hope your little guy feels better soon.
The one thing I would have to say YSL has an advantage over Dior is that even color story is similar the shelf life is way longer on YSL. Though, I do keep my powders longer than I should but I am really weary of Dior's 6 month limit now that they are "more" natural. No idea what that means in regards to preservatives.

I feel the same way towards the hot heat we get here in Ohio! Half the time I don’t even want to wear make-up, I just put some sunscreen on and head to work. Probably not great for business, but it’s probably better than make-up sweating off of my face! This new collection is beautiful! And I’m so looking forward to fall! 😊

I hate heat too! Especially as I enter perimenopause. I live in Southern Oregon where 90s are unfortunately average for summer temps. Hope the med routine for Harper is effective! Stay cool lovely!

I’m SOO glad you mentioned Grege (339) that’s called Sillage when I went to purchase in store at Nordstrom! The sales girl at first said she didn’t have “Grege” but since I mentioned the #339 she was even confused that it was called Sillage! I’ve been googling and searching for an explanation but there is NOTHING to go on (I can find) at the moment! It’s BEAUTIFUL THO!

So sorry to hear the news about Harper. I’d have trouble holding it together and am in awe of how you’re keeping calm and carrying on. And looking beautiful and smiling too. ❤ I hope the medication works 🤞. Bal Masque looks great on you and it eases my spend reflex to know that since I have it I don’t have to get the Stora Dolls. That said, I miss the old Dior formula so much! I find with Bal that the colors tend to merge into each other and except for that very deep brown you can’t get the definition in colors that used to be their wonderful hallmark. At least not unless you use a palette with higher contrast overall such as khaki. I haven’t tried the new blushes yet. But glad to see you seem happy with those!

Hi-I’m not buying any new Dior yet- I do love this quint on you-very pretty..but hearing how dry and powdery the new shadows are from Dior, is not enticing me to try any. Love the blushes.. especially the rosier one.

I’m playing catch up - so many eyeshadow palettes. This one really appeals to me but I think I’ll get the YSL one. I’m not in a rush as I still have plenty to play with so I’ll wait for a sale.

Jen, we've had 717 Patchwork in the Addict Lipstick Refills for quite along time, yet not in the Addict Lipsticks in the black casing. Although, there's no sign of 423 Romance in either section. I love the Addict Lipsticks, as they suit my dry lips beautifully and they're such stunning shades. We finally got the new regular Quints, but at only AUD$1.00 less than what the Limited Editions come out as, which is AUD5.00 more than the regular Quints prior to the new line. I'm not looking forward to seeing how high the L/E Quints will be know. Bal Masque hasn't been seen online yet, if at all. Not impressed that last years L/E Velvet Quints in Rosa Mutabilis and Red Tartan having returned as regulars, but I'm not sure how or if the formula has been changed. You can still grab these at a few stores still for AUD$115.00. I ended up with three of the Over-Curl Brique Mascara due to suiting me so well and loving coloured mascara. They tried to get rid of it as a L/E for the Mitzah Collection and have now just added it to the Over-Curl Mascara line-up along with that gorgeous green. It just makes me so angry when they tout about a product being L/E and when it's still available as L/E, add it to their regular line.🤦🏼♀️ I could have happily only bought two of the Brique and bought a green instead. Now, they're not getting anything! It seems that Dior has mixed the Blushes around with their descriptions. I'm interested in seeing the new L/E Quints with the warmish tones and the knitwear embossing, yet that could take forever here. As you can probably tell, I'm not exactly happy with Dior at present. I've just received the Le 9 de Givenchy Eye Palettes in 9.08 (N8) and 9.09 (N9) and thrilled with now having every palette, except for the elusive 9.06 which has no record of existing. I'm very much enjoying these shadows which give a stylish, mature appearance.
Jen, I've lived with severe chronic spinal pain for close to 37yrs, in October. No pain-killers will ever take away the pain. You'd be lucky if they removed between 20-30% only and I'm talking top shelf. Plus, I require Benzodiazepines, more pain relief for breakthrough pain in different forms and still end up screaming in agony. Luckily, I'm able to speak and tell of what I'm feeling, whereas a dog can't. My dear German Shepherd had been suffering pain, yet had hidden it extremely well from me. Until one day she was so worse for wear that she wasn't even able to make it into our vehicle and I had to lift her, with myself being 45kgs and my dear girl 36kgs! That was the day I knew she couldn't hang on any longer and I know she did it for me. I've had 37yrs experience with agonising pain running the length of my body 24/7 without a break. To say that it grounds you down and tears you apart is the greatest of understatements. I'm only telling you this to be aware of what Harper may be going through in future. The better armed you are with knowledge, the better decisions you can make. It's going to be time comsuming and I would very much recommend hydrotherapy for him. The best thing you can do is to keep his muscles built up. I was involved in the training of working dogs for a branch of the Armed Services and understand this issue from both sides. It's going to be a tough ride, so buckle in and strengthen up. I can only pray that you receive some encouraging news. Harper will want to be around you much more for extra comfort, especially when not feeling at his best or simply for the company. Wishing you all well, Kris.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨 & (a big kiss for Harper💋)

Very pretty on you today( like that Dior too in eyes) ..I liked the YSL too bc of rich color . Totally get keep things simple in the heat .I am in TX..your poor Harper 😢.. no one likes to see there fur babies hurting.
Personally working and recovering from surgery for a while. I can tell you got your technique down 💕🌹looks nice and the Blush for me bc I am so light ,...I wouldn't need much of darker one ..

The illumination from the Peau de Peche looks really nice. I have combo skin, with an oily T-zone. Do you think it would be too oily/shiny for me? I'm always matting that as much as I can. Hi Jen, can I know the brush in orange handle you use for the eye? It is sharp and I wonder if they are good and how do you compare with Sonia G?
So the orange handle brush is a hakuhodo 120. It is part of the vermillion series and this one is kollinsky. It’s kind of a rare brush and that type of brush picks up pigment extremely well!

As for heat, it was 36C here, just appalling. Ugh. If you haven’t tried Dr.Ceurical water SPF, you haven’t experienced the sheer relief of light sun protection 😊
My chocolate lab had disc issues, this has been years ago. If you’re open to it, I would seek out a vet that does acupuncture. Not to say that you should switch vets entirely if you’re happy w yours. And if you have a good vet I would think that he/she should be on board w adding acupuncture to Harper’s treatment. At baseline and aside from the disc issues, it may help as he is getting older. Something to consider❤

Agree! I studied TCM in Toronto: I’m sure there is someone local who is accredited & in good standing with the local board. The local horse or dog racetrack vets should know some one.
Funny, Charlotte Holtcroft sees shimmer&sparkle in the Dior en rose blush…..😮Who is right?!😅
It’s possible we both are! I’ve noticed that some times the same shade can be different depending on the batch 😑
But I’ll also keep trying it. Maybe the shimmer is below the top layer!
The Bal Masque quint looks like mystic eyes from Chanel. Disc problems suck. Poor Harper.
More brown zzzz. Only fall release I am interested in is Chanel.
3:43 poor little darlings❤️🩹 have you tried massage &/or those vibrating facial massage bars? My Luna is a Fox terrier with neck & jaw pain. She has learned to come to me & request muscle knot release to deal with her TMJ pain. It drives her wild with misery, but the slow, gentle massaging & gold bar massager works wonders. I even do some gentle neck decompressions for her
I’m up to trying everything and anything to help the little pup with his neck/back pain. Thanks for the suggestion
